Product Overview

Coordinating Claro wallplate and accessories sold separately. Lutron now has your solution for controlling two circuits with one sensor. Installing a Maestro in-wall, dual circuit occupancy sensor is a simple, easy, and low cost way to save energy and add light automation to your home. You’ll never worry about accidently leaving the lights on again with the Maestro Sensing Switch because it turns the lights on when you enter the room and then turns them off automatically after you leave. It even works in fan applications. This has an adjustable timeout for each circuit (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes), so you can control how long the lights stay on after you leave the room. This sensor features XCT Sensing Technology which detects fines motion, such as typing at a desk or reading, ensuring lights do not turn off inadvertently. Equipped with ambient light detection, you can customize your sensor to detect daylight so lights don’t turn on with enough natural light in your room. Maestro Sensors work with any bulb type, including CFLs and LEDs. Keeping the sleek design of the Maestro family, Lutron sensors will match the decor of any room in your home. Excellent for fan/light applications in the bathroom.

  • Wall plate not included
  • 6 Amp per circuit/4.4 Amp of fan loads per circuit
  • Use in single pole applications, where the light is controlled from one switch
  • Independent control of settings per circuit enables you to simply adjust settings for each circuit to meet the needs of a space
  • Simple push-button programming enables adjustments to be made quickly and easily to make the sensor work for your environment
  • Requires ground wire

Customer Questions & Answers

Can I set both switches manual on, auto off?

Planning to use for a bath with a fan/light combo and separate LED light. I don't want either to turn on when occupancy is detected, so can they both be set to manual on, and auto off? Thanks.

I am not sure if you can turn both switches to manual mode. But I chatted with lutron and I was told that this switch MS-ops6-ddv-wh will allow for one switch setting to work as a regular sensor and turn something on and off automatically, while the other switch setting will allow for manually turning the switch on and off or manually on with a timed-out option. I do not know if the wall switch that I am referring to here is the same model number that you are speaking about, because i dont see the model number on my screen. I just found out this information about this switch this morning, from Lutron.

Is there another switch like this with a timer

Is there another switch like this that times out after being turned on. ie: it has a timer function without the motion. I have two fans in my for exhaust and the other for heat. In the summer, I do not want the heat to turn on.

can this product replace a double switch?

In my kitchen, I have two lights that are controlled independently of each other. I have a double switch that is broken. I want to be able to have a motion sensor switch that controls both of my kitchen lights, but also have two buttons that can control the lights independently so I can turn on and off one of them without having to turn on both of them. Will this product allow me to control both lights?
