Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Appears to be a good and solid product, certainly does what I purchased it for. My house was pre-wired for a split wired control so this made installation easier. My biggest problem came from determining what wire did what on the control as compared to the wiring in the house. What I mean by this is the wiring colors didn't line up completely. Control performs as advertised. February 25, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice, may not work with all bulbs. Put these in 3 rooms, had an electrician run new 14/3 wire to each switch and fan. I have no problem with 2 fans using Cree LED 60 watt replacement bulbs only a very low hum when dimmed, but the 3rd fan has a light kit on it that doesn't seem to like the LED bulbs since I had to convert it from 2 post GU24 to screw in, I think it is more a problem with the kit since it caused a humming from the bulbs so I just put in regular incandescents which work fine. The cheap CFL bulbs that came with the kits/fan hummed like crazy but I am sure the better CFLs wont have this problem. Again I used LEDs which worked out provided you aren't trying to plug them into a bulb converter. July 17, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Slider Switch Easy to replace existing switch. Working as intended. February 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great switch, is now limited Word of caution: Per Lutron -- "This control is made to be used with incandescent or halogen bulbs. We do not recommend to be used with any other type of lighting." I am in the midst of remolding a rental, so of course, I purchased three more of these, because I know they work (currently have three). Did not know that Hampton Bay has switched many of their fans to the GU-24 bulbs -- I thought I could purchase the $50 Tri-Mount fans. I especially liked them because the light globe was closed -- no bugs, no dust, loved the old schoolroom look. Well, even though you can purchase dimmable GU-24 -- you can not use them with this Lutron model. Why they don't make all ceiling light kits dimmable, as an option? Also, a 60 watt bulb is sorely inefficient for an overhead light. It should be at least 100 watts. So, my quest continues, but why also has HD raised the no light kit "contractor's fan" to $67?
