There is a dearth of products like this, 2 dimmers that can but put in a single box, in fact this was the only one I found. The only problem is that it isn't necessarily suitable for LED bulbs, so you can get some strobing of dimmed light bulbs. Otherwise, I would recommend this product to serve a specific purpose.

This is great item, this way you have control of both lights. One can be on high and one light dim.

This dimmer switch separately dims two different *light* fixtures from one switch box. It *does* work with the *dimmable* Cree LED bulbs I bought from Home Depot, even though Lutron does not certify the switch for LED bulbs, only incandescent or halogen. Your mileage may vary with other LED bulbs, especially ones *not* marked "dimmable."
Addressing some other negative reviews, I can't assess the long-term durability, as mine is a new install. Also this switch will *not* work with a fan and light. For that you need a different switch HD sells, the Lutron Skylark 300-Watt Single-Pole Fan Control and Dimmer Model # S2-LFSQH-WH. Also the sliders on mine are not sticky, hard to operate, or hard to turn off; either Lutron has fixed this issue or there are some bad units out there. Return your new one if it comes that way.
INSTALLATION TIPS: Pay attention to the instructions which ask you to attach the black Lutron wire to the wire attached to your old dual switch which is on the side with a break-off tab--the instructions show how to identify this. The red wire on the Lutron should be attached to the fixture you want the dimmer slider on the right to control, if this matters. Finally when screwing the switch in, pay attention to which end of the switch is marked UP; otherwise your dimmer switch might be upside down and you'll have to take it out and flip it around again unless you like sliding up to make it dimmer!

We are updating a 1970's home and this is just what we wanted. End result looks good plus it was to install and a reasonable price.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Topangajack Works fine with my LED Lights, plus Wiring Tip.
The instructions say for incandescent lights only, but I installed this unit to control two LED ceiling fixtures in our kitchen. I am happy to report that so far, they work great with full dimming range.
It's too soon to say anything about how durable they are, but so far I am very pleased.
Wiring tip: the instructions do not mention which wire goes to the left slider and which goes to the right. Well, I can tell you that the right slider operates the red wire. No more trial and error needed.

Bought 6 of these & ALL of the dimmer knobs broke off within months, even in our 2 guest rooms that are rarely used. Also, after apprx. 8 months, one dimmer broke completely & now my light will not turn up. The buzzing of the fans is also an issue as stated in other reviews. Absolute garbage!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by maestro2of7 Works great but make sure to install them after walls are finished
New installation in our living room allowed for an opportunity to install a dimmer. We were able to install a dual pole to fit the dimmer in place and it worked great with spot lights. We installed 6 spot lights and every set has a dimmer. The only thing wrong was that the single dimmer gets stuck or harden. Not sure if it's due to installation prior to finishing the walls.

I followed the instructions no problem to install, Ifound the switch strong sturdy and clicked when light and fan was off. The switch plate which goes inside the outer cover fit snug, overall very happy with product.
