Answer:
The S-600H is not rated to control LED products, however the Lutron does manufacture a model that is (model #: SCL-153PH-WH). Please refer to the compatible LED list provided on its product page to determine if the specific bulb you are using is compatible with that dimmer.

Answer:
I called Lutron as they have tech support 24/7. The technical rep told me I purchased the wrong dimmer and gave me the model number to buy. Back to HD and the correct dimmer is installed and wife is happy.

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed with colors available at Home Depot - Forced to a competitor for correct color. Lutron makes some of the best electrical switches available. This particular one comes in 3 three colors that are very, very close to each other, In my application I have a bank of 5 and only one had to be replaced. Only one of the available colors matched and any of the other two colors were obviously a mismatch and stood out. The two colors on the Home Depot website turned out to be the incorrect ones. I was forced to go to Menard's (which I do dislike) and got the correct color of the store shelf (which incidentally was the only one of three that they carry). Seems like Lutron is splitting its color availability between retailers - which creates work for the customer (i.e., - buying multiple colors with multiple returns). November 3, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Works OK, but not forever. The Skylark dimmer line has a characteristic failure mode where the slide contact goes bad and you are left with an expensive and clumsy on-off switch instead of the romantic mood setting dimmer. I have one of these that had this afflication 8 years after install. I have had two of the dual dimmer models fail in the same time frame in a single application. I now have simple switches installed instead. So far the dual fan/light control is going strong at 11 years after install. Am I asking so much that a dimmer be a better investment? e.g. my parents installed a dimmer in the 70's that is still going strong. The knob can snap off if you bump it wrong. Just pick it up off the floor and snap it back in place. December 1, 2013
