Some LEDs may produce an audible hum or buzz when being dimmed but unfortunately if the bulb hums on one dimmer, it will most likely produce noise on any dimmer. It is possible that using an electronic low voltage dimmer, like this CTELV-303P, will help reduce the buzz, as it dims using what is called reverse phase, however it would be worthwhile to check with the LED manufacturer to ensure that the bulbs you are using can be used with an ELV dimmer. They may even know before you purchase it if it eliminates the hum you are hearing! Read Less

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best dimmer for LED I've used Lutron magnetic dimmers for Halogen lighting, and the Skylark Contour is of equal high quality. It works perfectly with my Tech Lighting 300 watt electronic transformer. July 5, 2015
