Hello James.
I have never seen a 4-way dimmer switch. They might be out there, but my guess is they are not. It may not matter though depending on what you want to do.
If we are talking about a typical 4-way switch network, there are 3 switches. For reference, I will attach a wiring diagram:
1) Line end 3-way switch where the power source is (SW1 in the diagram)
2) Middle of network which would require a 4-way switch (SW2 in the diagram)
3) Load end 3-way switch that goes to your light (SW3 in the diagram)
There are many that say you can install a 3-way dimmer switch either at the line end (SW1) or the load end (SW3) and there are some that say you can exchange both ends with 3-way dimmer switches. In my personal work, I have installed a dimmer at the load end (SW3) and all worked fine. Obviously the dimmer must be a 3-way dimmer and not a standard single pole type.
In this setup, you should be able to turn the light(s) on and off at all 3 locations and the Lutron Toggler dimmer would be the only location to adjust the brightness. This was fine with me. If you want to control brightness from more than one location, Lutron makes 3-way dimmers, their Maestro series for example, that will do that at a bit higher price.
Use this as advice only. I am not a licensed electrician and there are many variable that may or may not effect your project. Hope this helps. Read Less

Answer:
I have the package and it really doesn't say what its control capacity is. You could use it on a 20 AMPERE CIRCUIT BUT IT WOULD BE DIFFICULT FOR YOU TO GET 20 ampere's OF LED LOAD. 10 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs would be about 1` Ampere. So if you had a 20 Ampere LED load it would be the equivalent of 200 60watt equivalent LED bulbs

I really like the fact that you can adjust the lowest level that the lights will start, something you can't do with other dimmers. It is also completely silent... no buzz or hum as with cheap dimmers. They are also more compact compared to the older Lutron dimmers that they are replacing. A bit pricey. If these Lutron dimmers last as long as the old Lutrons (20+ years old) they are replacing I will be very happy... but only time will tell. Not 5 stars because of price and no idea how long they will last.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works fine - It's a dimmer but best use is fixed dimming setting with on-off toggle. Works fine. Tried it with a 40 watt LED dimmable bulb but installed it permanently with a Pixi 2 ft. x 2 ft. Edge-Lit LED Flat Light. This dimmer has its best application where you want to set a particular dimmer setting and then use the toggle as an on-off switch with that dimmer setting usually not touched very often. If you are going to change the dimming level often, you are better off with a toggle type dimmer or the knob type with a push on-off. This style dimmer has a small tab or its right side for dimming control and a narrower-than-normal toggle on the left side for on-off control. It works well in its intended application and that's why I chose this style dimmer. Not inexpensive - that's why I gave it an "average" rating for value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Color issue - beware It seems that Lutron's notion of "light almond" is quite different from Levition's understanding of the same term. If you are installing one of these toggles in an existing multi-gang wall plate, you may be seriously irritated to find they don't match unless you have done in-depth homework.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Got to have with LED's Like the product, And that I'm switching over to LED's in my house I have to change all the dimmers. Since I have to replace 14 Dimmers I really wish they would get the cost DOWN some. I costing me a small fortune to become energy efficient.
