Answer:
The TG-600PR is not rated to control low voltage applications with transformers. The TGLV-600PR is rated to control Magnetic Low Voltage transformers; however we do not offer a toggle style dimmer for Electronic Low Voltage transformers. If you have questions on your specific application feel free to call our 24hr hotline at 1-844-588-7661.

LED (I now know, not compatible, but...)

This question is from Toggler 600-Watt Single-Pole Dimmer - White

I guess I'm learning the hard way. Not too long ago I purchased 60 candelabra LEDs and I have these dimmers because I was running 15W incandescents before totaling 570W and 300W. I did not think about the need to change the dimmer out. All was well for a while but lately I have been getting flickering and bulb failure. So, my question is (and hopefully Lutron will see this), one of my chandeliers has 38 bulbs and the other has 20. Below you mentioned the 150W LED dimmer part number which would be fine for the smaller chandelier but what dimmer can I used for the bigger one that will be running between 150 and 200 watts of LED bulbs? Thanks!

Great question! Lutron also offers 250W LED dimmers that may be what you need for this application, model DVCL-253P-WH or AYCL-253P-WH. Keep in mind however that compatibility will vary greatly from bulb to bulb, as all LEDs are being manufactured differently right now, so it would be important to check the compatibility bulb list for the specific dimmer that you will be using. Answer:
one is the power in to the switch and the other is power out to the lights. connect the the power in to the line in side of the switch and the power out to the load side of the switch. wires on the switch should be marked, or the switch has notation on the back of it. (markings may be on the break away tabs on the front of the aluminum yoke or frame.

Answer:
You would connect one black wire to a brass screw and the other black wire to the other brass screw on the side of the dimmer. If you need further help, Lutron offers 24/7 Technical Assistance at 800-523-9466 and can walk you through the wiring.

Answer:
yes, but would be confusing when flipping toggle up to turn the light off and sliding the dimmer down to turn the lights brighter. I recommend getting used to the slide on the right side as you adjust the brightness less often than you turn the switch on or off.

Answer:
Unfortunately we would not recommend mounting this dimmer upside down due to the way the dimmer is designed to dissipate heat.

I think so. Not a mercury switch. You'll have off up and on down, that might confuse someone but not the switch.
