Answer:
My contractor used plumbers putty. I know the manual says use silicone, but after reading many opinions online, most everyone agreed plumber's putty is better. Dries faster, stronger, silicone is messy. Now he will ALSO put silicone around the edges to seal it AFTER installing it Undermount.

Answer:
Thank you for your question. With regards to caulking around the sink, Once the sink hole is cut and the sink set into position, a bead of silicone caulk needs to be added around the perimeter of the sink to hold it in place. In addition, silicone caulk will be needed for the drains as well.

Answer:
Hello. You may want to view the video again. There was no caulk used before installing the sink in the hole. It is the clips on the sink which holds it in place in the hole, not the caulk. The silicon caulk is to form a water-tight seal around the outside of the sink.

It should. I replaced a previous acrylic one (undermount), called same size 33 x 19, by cutting out the old one from the stone countertop. Carefully. And it did not break. Without actually seeing the mounted sink, it is difficult to give you a definitive answer. Please go to lyonsindustries.com for instructions to better understand the installation process. If you have the ability to get under the sink, you might be able to get a better measurement.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hard to find, smaller double bowl white sink I give it 5 stars, but, I pray it will last. My other identical sink (but different brand, Peachtree Forge, now out of business?) lasted 10 years before the acrylic cracked. So I hope this one makes it at least that long. My house is from 1946 so the counter is 24 deep rather than 26, so it is hard to find a sink that fits, other than stainless, but I really did not want stainless steel. And cast iron was too heavy. This is extremely lightweight and installed easily as an undermount in my existing hole without requiring the contractor to break the surrounding Silestone. It looks beautiful. Arrived quickly to my door. The missing filtered water faucet is another story. (Home Depot only sells plastic ones at the store, so I'm waiting for one online from Overstock.) All in all the sink is just what I needed. I believe some people call it a mobile home sink. September 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT sink!!!! Easy to install, Easy to clean, does not stain like porcelane sinks do...LOVE IT!!! GREAT Sink...Easy to install, Lightweight & durable, deep & cleans easily!!! LOVE IT! August 4, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ok product but has some draw backs Needed a smaller width sink to fit older cabinets. Hard to find under 22 inch width. I like this sink for my install restrictions. But the thin wall construction makes it to flexible around the faucet. I installed any way but a little concerned about its durability in the long run. July 6, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by IT WAS WHAT WE NEEDED. ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MANNER, HAVEN'T INSTALLED IT YET BUT SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM. September 17, 2013
