Well worth the two minutes it takes to install, this door seal has held up well, reduced drafts immensely, and was a great buy.

This cinch seal does a good job of sealing the area underneath a door, keeping drafts at bay. It has a strong adhesive that keeps the product attached even if it drags across carpet every time you open the door, and the seal actually has three rubber strips of varying lengths which help form a continuous seal against the door sill. Also it its favor is the incredibly reasonable price.
The drawbacks are almost all installation related:
(1) instructions are very minimal
(2) a hacksaw may be required depending on the width of your door
(3) it's unclear if the product is supposed to go on the outside or inside of the door, but the illustration on the packaging shows it mounted on the inside (assuming the door opens inwards)
(4) once installed, you cannot remove the product - I highly recommend that if you try to install it, you remove a small amount of the tape backing on either end of the product and mount it temporarily to get the right positioning, then mark it, remove the product carefully, and pull the rest of the tape backing off.
Note that if the product is mounted too low, it will likely jam in between the door and a welcome mat or other object inside the door, and if it's mounted too high, it simply won't seal with the door sill. That's why carefully testing the position with a small amount of tape removed, as suggested above, is critical.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Smarteboy Easy install
I had a door that I could see light through the threshold, and so I figured energy was probably escaping through. I ordered this door seal because it looked really easy to install. I opened the package, measured it out, snipped it and applied it to the door. It was that easy. The seal has a self adhesive strip on it, so it is just press and stick.
I don't know if this seal saves me anything as I have only had it for a few weeks, but it seems to be making a much tighter seal. I am sure that with the seal, I am losing less heat. Only time will tell if it is a long term solution.

My review unfortunately starts with the door seal arriving bent in half. The carrier had bent it in half at some point.
I was able to straighten it out fairly well and decided to try installing it on a less visible door in my house since it did have a visible crease in it. The strip attach by an installed adhesive strip which makes installation pretty quick. My strip was 36 inches and fit the door with no cutting, so as far as ease of installation, I couldn’t ask for anything simpler. It took a little over 15 minutes to install the strips and even with the crease I had not issues. I did notice much less of a draft from the door after it was installed so it definitely made a difference.
My only suggestion would be to pick this up locally at home depot, this doesn’t travel very well.

I needed to add a better weather barrier on the threshold of my door. This winter has been getting very cold (-9 at night), and ice has been building up and making it difficult to open the door in the mornings.
I installed this kit to keep the ice out and prevent any further drafts coming from the door. I wiped the door really well where the 3m adhesive strip was to go, measured, cut and installed. so far the ice is gone and there hasn't been any issues.
My only concern is that this attaches with a adhesive strip and not fasteners. however, I'm hoping that with a good cleaning of the door, the adhesive bond will be strong enough.
the only downside is that you have to trim this to size with a hacksaw. watch for sharp edges and use a file to knock down some of the burns left over from cutting. put the cut edge towards the hinges and you should be ok.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Verified Reviewer good for any door
I've found over the years that not all doors are standard! So the fact that you can customize the length is useful. The material is good - doesn't look like it will wear away black blobs like other products after wear. It was easy to trim to size and apply. So long as the space that you need to weatherize will accommodate the size of these cinches then it is a good product to purchase.

Sometimes difficult determining what you really get with online orders so make sure you just need a door sweep. Which, I believe can be mounted to both lower inside and outside door frame.
