The opening that I was working with was 34". This door worked fine. An additional item was included in the package of materials that I received that permitted an adjustment of up to an additional inch in the shower door frame to make it work.

Answer:
This door will not fit into a 24" opening. Home Depot Online offers 2 doors that can. Both are made by Foremost. They are frameless, one with silver hardware and the other polished bronze. One is $380 and the other $455. The style is "Cove". If you search www.homedepot.com for Foremost Cove Shower door, they should come up. They are online only.

Answer:
A "Swing" door is considered a door that "swings" aka in and out. How can they call this a swing door when it just swings open (Out) as such every other shower door? If thats the case all showers are swing doors. Then what do you call doors that swing in and out?

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.2 out of 5 by 75 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good door for the price The installation was easy and all the parts were there. It's definitely a great addition to our bathroom. March 22, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Instructions are Terrible If you are good at solving puzzles, this is the door for you. The instructions are such a joke its pathetic. You have to figure it all out on your own. My order was shipped with parts where the holes did not line up. I also have an extra part and no idea what it is because there is no mention in the instructions. They have a parts list with numbers to tell you what the parts go to but the numbers are all wrong. Maax Frustration and waste of time. If you can find another door, I would say go for that one because this is ridiculous. January 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy setup, excellent price The door looks much nicer than the price suggests. The installation took about 30 minutes with very detailed instructions. If you're installing on fiberglass you will probably need to shave down the edges of the frame, though. June 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by High quality - Excellent Performance I rated ease of installation as good, instead of excellent, because it was a difficult task for an 85 year old man. Had I been younger, I probably would not have had the difficulties posed by the weight of the door. June 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Just what we were looking for for our guest bah. Easy to install, and size was accurate. April 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Door Nice door for half the price of the doors my shower was recommended for. Fairly easy to install if you take your time. Plan on a half a day for install. March 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is the 2nd Insight Frameless Shower Door & EQUAL to the 1st Purchased 5 Years ago! Easy to install (took about 4 hours) But adds a high-end look to the entire 20 Year old Shower Stall. March 24, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Looks high end for the cost, but installation is a pain! I love the final look of the new shower door. It is simple, clean and exactly what I was going for at a fair value. It was shipped in a timely manner directly to my store and could fit in a Ford Escape. However, the installation was a pain! I have a builders grade fiberglass shower with rounded bottom corners. This required filing a descent size off each piece of the frame so that is was flush with the sides of the shower. A lot more work than what I was expecting! Also, the top of the door doesn't seem to stay connect to the frame, but has a small gap when closed. It doesn't make the door unusable, just more of an inconvenience. In total it probably took 6-7 hours to install with 2 adults. July 3, 2013
