Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by This product needs improvement I purchased this product a few months ago. Now the towel bar is broken (from regular use, nothing out of the ordinary), and it's been frustrating to find out that neither the manufacturer nor the store have supported me in my efforts to get replacement parts for repairing my door handle. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very well done product. This shower door is excellent and was much better than I thought it would be. It has beveled squares that makes it very sharp. I have had a lot of positive opinions from friends who have seen it. November 29, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by High Quality w/installation glitches I ordered this Noble tub door unit off the internet. Delivery took 14 days but Easter weekend fell during that period. The packaging was solid. I especially liked the nuts, bolts, and small parts mounted on a soft blister pack with clear numbering and extras for most of the small stuff. Great for that "Oops I left the drain open!" moment. The instructions are pretty much complete with good illustrations-more on that when I get to the install. The quality of the doors and hardware is top rate. Keep in mind that the "Chrome" finish is soft and scratches easily. Installation glitches-The instructions are very clear that if your walls are more than one half inch out of plumb that you should stop and call the company for parts to correct the problem. The measurement they don't explicitly show is the front top edge of the tub and the degree it slopes toward the inside of the tub. Since the base channel sits on the tub and the two wall channels sit on top of the base rail any angle of the tub surface will skew the uprights. Mine were off by about 3 inches at the top. I beveled the bottom of the wall channels to return them to plumb. (Using a 5" disc sander). The next problem with the uneven installation of the base channel is the center door guide. This is a pretty tight fit under the best of level. My installation has some rubbing which may have to be dealt with. The last detail of note and the reason I was concerned to get a solid base channel is the weight of the doors. These puppies are 8 mil thick and are HEAVY! Caution is recommended. April 16, 2010
