Many of the reviews talk about the need for flex overflow or drain, but don't say where to get it. Would like to know before we buy the tub and can't find it.

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 38 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Freestanding tub I haven't installed it yet but it really looks nice where I am putting it. Looks good quality too! May 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Tub This is a beautiful tub that makes a statement in a modern bathroom renovation. I didn't want a huge tub but it is still deep and roomy. Price is great and money is saved by using deck mounted faucets. Installation was a little tricky but not insurmountable. You can't beat this one for the money. July 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Maax Sax tub Quality finish. Very sturdy once caulked. Followed advice from another review to insulate between tub and skirt...so glad we did. Lip around tub is a little rough but ran a bead of caulk over lip; problem solved. Installing plumbing was a bit challenging but not sure if that's design or user challenge. Overall pleased with tub and would recommend to anyone redoing their bathroom with a stand alone tub. Might recommend a free-standing filer, though as deck is kinda small. August 27, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking and Good Quality The tub arrived with no damage and the quality and the look of the install is great. I installed this as a DYI project and there are three installation comments to keep in mind. One is the overflow to drain connection alignment is a bit of a challenge and the hole location and size through the floor is critical as there is not a lot of room for error. Also make sure the fixture connections are no longer than shown in the installation instructions. All in all a great looking tub. January 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for Plumber hated this tub. The tub is purely for show. Its material is thin and overly flexible. Plumber had a very difficult time with installation. Spend more money, get a good tub. January 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it I wanted to buy the bigger version, especially after I saw the reviews about how difficult the installation can be. But my wife wanted a separate shower as well so I had to get a 5ft tub. Looks very upscale and feels comfortable. It feels a bit lighter than what was expecting so it's positive for me. Also, our general contractor and his plumber installed it in less than 20 minutes. I am not a plumber so I don't know why other reviews say it's difficult to handle. It was on sale when I ordered it which made me even happier. July 1, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great! Did a complete bathroom makeover and the top was purchased for the price and the drain location option - quality is good and I'm very much pleased. Small hiccups came with shipping to my home instead of the store - so best of luck to all that try that. Once it did arrive though, all went well. Very pretty - very simple. May 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Maax Tub My plumber, who is experienced in installing freestanding tubs, said this was the most difficult tub he has ever installed. It is very thin, and in order to improve the insulation he used spray foam in between the inner portion and outer portion. This did help, and the tub holds heat pretty well. Two other issues: he said the tub is mainly intended for second floor installation because the only way to replace the hardware (faucet, etc) is to get at it from the bottom. That isn't happening here now that it is secured to our first floor tile floor. Second issue: In order to level the tub, there had to be a huge gap...like at least an inch in some places between the bottom of the tub and the tile floor. My husband used caulk to seal it up and it looked terrible (in my opinion). To fix this, I purchased flexible molding from Amazon, painted it white and glued it on. Overall looks great and gave my bathroom the look I was going for. I recommend checking with a plumber first before you purchase this! June 6, 2016
