Customer Questions & Answers

does the 59 inch in width mean both doors together in the installed position?

Can I install these doors in a 57 inch wide space on the bathtub. If I can overlap the doors by two or three inches the 57 inch from one side of the tub to the other should be ok. Can anybody confirm before I purchase it.
Asked by: cat
Hello and thank you for inquiring about our MAAX products. Yes, a little overlap is ok but you will loose some of the glass pattern when doing so. Regards,

Can the towel bar be on the left side? Also, can the door be opened from the left,.

Asked by: Lakegirl
Hello and thank you for your question. You may put the outside panel on the left if you wish, as both panels slide. However, we strongly suggest to put the inside panel on the same side as your shower head to reduce any leaking. Have a nice day.

Customer Reviews

Vertiga 59 in. x 57 in. Sliding Tub/Shower Door in Chrome with Summer Breeze Glass is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 28.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy good value I received the shower doors in a reasonable amount of time and in good condition. I installed them yesterday, and they were a breeze to install. The kit had all the parts plus a few extra of each screw. The hardest part of the install was cutting the bottom and top rails. I read the instructions when I received the doors, so I was prepared with a miter box and a good hack saw. I just took my time in cutting them, so I had good straight, smooth cuts. There were no problems with the project and the quality and design of the doors is first rate. They operate very smoothly and they look great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great looking door just an easy door to install..for measuring the bottom rail, just over lap two boards and mark it.minus what they say and you get a perfect cut. i did cut the rails on my miter long as your tub and walls are level, you should have no trouble installing it.they have extra holes on the doors for un-level tubs though.enjoy..

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK quality The doors and glass are good quality- the handles are weak and have very sharp edges.Upright tracks are of thin metal. Sterling has a better product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from beautiful doors The site listing was hard to figure out everything even for the salesman @ HD But it comes with 2 towel bars. I cut 2 pieces of wood to fit the top and bottom and then transferred the cut to the rails. I used a chopsaw with medal blade to get a square cut which made it easy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tub door The doors look very good and function well. Doors slide easily and smoothly,. The hard part is making sure everything on the frame is straight and cut accurately. Also a good masonry/tile bit is a must. From there assembly is a breeze. I cut mine a tad short but the silicone sealant easily filled the excess. It is about 3 inchs shorter than my shower head, but that is just personnal preference not a problem.
