Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question. You may put the outside panel on the left if you wish, as both panels slide. However, we strongly suggest to put the inside panel on the same side as your shower head to reduce any leaking. Have a nice day.

Can I install these doors in a 57 inch wide space on the bathtub. If I can overlap the doors by two or three inches the 57 inch from one side of the tub to the other should be ok. Can anybody confirm before I purchase it.

Hello and thank you for inquiring about our MAAX products. Yes, a little overlap is ok but you will loose some of the glass pattern when doing so.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from OK quality The doors and glass are good quality- the handles are weak and have very sharp edges.Upright tracks are of thin metal. Sterling has a better product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Crazy good value I received the shower doors in a reasonable amount of time and in good condition. I installed them yesterday, and they were a breeze to install. The kit had all the parts plus a few extra of each screw. The hardest part of the install was cutting the bottom and top rails. I read the instructions when I received the doors, so I was prepared with a miter box and a good hack saw. I just took my time in cutting them, so I had good straight, smooth cuts. There were no problems with the project and the quality and design of the doors is first rate. They operate very smoothly and they look great.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from missleading installation literature I purchased the shower tub door after reading the literature that was posted on the Home Depot site.I had already measured and knew that my tub ledge was 1/2 inch off level. This is an old house with a tiled in tub that could not be easily repositioned. The instructions clearly state that a ledge filler strip is available from Maax to correct this problem. I temporarily taped the frame in place and hung the doors to see if the adjustment of the door rollers was enough to correct the unlevel issue. It was not quite enough so I called Maax to order the filler strips. The customer service person told me that the strips were no longer available and they could not refer me to anyone .I don`t know what to do?The door is now just another thing taking up space in my garage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great looking door just an easy door to install..for measuring the bottom rail, just over lap two boards and mark it.minus what they say and you get a perfect cut. i did cut the rails on my miter saw.as long as your tub and walls are level, you should have no trouble installing it.they have extra holes on the doors for un-level tubs though.enjoy..
