Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by MrFixIt really big & heavy
I'm turning my garage into a parlor, and using this to tile over the concrete floor. It's a big space, so the large tiles look nice in there. However, be warned! These tiles are ridiculously heavy! I can barely, just barely lift a case of these things. (It's only 5 tiles!) But that also means that these tiles are extremely durable, and will last for years to come. That's a GOOD thing! Not easy to install, and not recommended for beginners. Ensure to back-butter for good adhesion.

Used this tile to re-do a small master bath floor and shower. Used the 20x20 on the floor, the 16x16 in the shower and the bullnose along the sides of the shower and also as baseboard for the entire room. We are updating 3 bathrooms and a kitchen for the purpose of resale. Budget had the highest priority along with keeping things fairly neutral, but not bland. We will probably not sell for another year so we wanted a look that we could also enjoy for the remaining time we are here. This tile is probably one of the best selections that I made. I was concerned that it might be too dark for such a small space since we were tiling the shower all the way to the ceiling and not sure of how such large tiles would look (we used less than 20 floor tiles total) on the floor, but it really looks great. To save $, we bought a new white acrylic shower pan instead of having one done from tile. I was not happy about this at the time because I thought that it would look cheap, but now have to say that I am very pleased with the outcome. The white pan picks up the small white flecks in the tile perfectly and I believe actually makes the room look a little larger. We did buy a very inexpensive satin nickel drain plate which also made a big difference in the finished look. The toilet and sink are white and the vanity is a rich, dark wood tone. The countertop is carrera marble. All the plumbing and shower door trim is in satin or brushed nickel and you won't believe how well they coordinate with this tile. We used a 4" listello of small rectangular assorted glass (white and pale green), slate and pewter metallic tiles, both in the shower and as a counter backsplash. I can't tell you how clean and sophisticated this room looks. I couldn't be happier. The tile installer said that the tile is very high quality and was easy to install. He was surprised at how low the price was. I ordered all of the tile online at the same time, hoping to get the same dye lot, but will say that the 16x16 looks a shade darker than the 20x20. They are close enough however that the bullnose coordinates with both and actually, with so much tile dominating the room, the very slight difference is probably a plus. The tile arrived pretty much according to the stated time and the only negative with the ordering/delivery process was that the main transporter did not come to my area (about 30 miles west of Denver) and consigned the shipment to another local shipper. The truck they sent was really big and damaged my asphalt driveway while trying to enter by backing up. We didn't pursue any complaints because we plan to resurface the driveway in the spring anyway. All the tile was on a mini palette, packed well, but heavy and hard to maneuver. It would have been so much easier if the tile sizes had been in separate bundles instead of all combined on one palette. The only thing that I can say that was difficult with the tile itself was in trying to coordinate paint colors. I specifically wanted a grey tile that would coordinate with the colors in my master bedroom (teal, tea green and dusty purple) and found that most of the gray samples I brought home just didn't work. This Artisan Ghiberti was perfect, but then when trying to find a paint for the bathroom, we found that the tile actually has a lot more warm, beige tones in it than we realized. Overall, it does look gray, but It seems to lean somewhat towards taupe. We ended up using Oyster Gray grout and a paint color called Stepping Stone. It took a long time to decide on these, but when all was finished, it really looks nice. During this entire process I have looked at tile at so many stores and brought home so many samples that I really never thought I would get done. You probably can tell that I'm a VERY picky person. In the final analysis, I believe that this tile was the best buy of just about everything that I have selected and I don't think you can beat it for the price. The tile I selected for some other areas of my home were double and triple the price of this one and although they look good, this one doesn't look any less beautiful in comparison. It gets more compliments than any of the others. If you are considering this tile I don't think you will be disappointed.

My husband and I are renovating my in-laws master bath. We wanted something light and more towards the grey tones, rather than the beige. This tile was perfect. It's a smaller bathroom but the large tiles almost make it appear larger. We bought the 3x12 tiles as well to use as the baseboard rather than a normal wood baseboard. We tiled the floor, shower walls from floor to ceiling, and the ceiling itself. They were PERFECT!!!! I can not say enough about these tiles. One word of advice however - use sturdy spacers. We had the cheap, squishy ones and we basically had to double them up. But they did work. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend these tiles. They are heavy when in the box, but aren't that difficult to install. Also, larger tiles = less grout, but lots of thinset.

There are very few tiles in this size or with more of a grey /black tones rather than tan. The shipment was as promised and no tiles arrived damaged. Our contractor was amazed at the price we paid for this tile.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by renofatigue Best decision I've made on a major remodel
After searching and researching for a long time, we decided on this tile for a large area including the kitchen, breakfast nook, back entryway, and laundry room. Best decision we've made on a major remodel. True, the tile is very heavy, but we had it professionally installed and the tile guy did an excellent job. The placement of the tiles makes the pattern look like it's flowing. Gorgeous. With the white kitchen cabinets and darker gray quartz countertops, the impact when walking into the space is spectacular. I love it. We liked it so much we used the same tile in the master bathroom and hall bath. It's easy to clean (I just steam it) and looks so nice and shiny after a cleaning. Because of the pattern it doesn't show drips and tracks so much and cleans up easily. If you want a clean, classic look, buy this tile.
