I love this backsplash. I used the alabaster grout, which was brighter than I expected. If I had to do it again, I would use the antique white grout.

I had this installed as my kitchen backsplash. Was a three day process because of many cuts made. I love the brightness that it adds to my kitchen.

I have ordered all my tile from HD for our new house. It's true to the picture on the web. This tile is excellent in texture and color is true. Will purchase from HD again!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AndreaD A gorgeous, practical tile for a backsplash
I chose this for the majority of my home's kitchen backsplash, where there was Formica before. It worked out beautifully and will be practical, too, because it's porcelain. I had the tile installer place matching Montagna Lugano 6-inch deco tiles interspersed here and there in the field of this more or less 2 x 4-inch mosaic, and the photos show how nice it looks. The overall appearance is almost like an ancient Roman home.
I looked everywhere else on the Web to find this Marazzi Montagna tile, and couldn't find it, not even on Marazzi's website. So I think Home Depot is having Marazzi make it exclusively for them. The delivery was super-fast (2-3 days) and the packaging was superb. Nothing broken in the boxes.
I like this Montagna line of tile so much, that I'm seriously considering using the 12x12 or larger tiles to redo the guest bathroom floor next year (replacing the old sheet vinyl).
The only minor quibble I have is that they must have been out of stock of this 2 x 4-inch mosaic, because I got 3 sheets of the 2 x 2-inch version. But that worked out perfectly because I used it around the laundry room sink, which was in a separate room beyond the kitchen.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by G1015 Love the look of these tiles
We love the tile, but as other customers mentioned, the paper between each tile sheet was awful to get off!! We worked on this project, tearing the paper off, for 4 hours one day and 3 hours the next day, while the tile man did his work preparing the walls, cuts, etc.
Also, there were sheets that had broken tiles. Thank goodness, we had just enough to cover our kitchen walls, even though we had ordered extras.
Overall, our kitchen looks great and we are very happy with the tiles.

We used this tile to update our bathroom. I can speak to ease of installation, as a friend who's a contractor installed it. Used it as the back wall of the shower and as an accent coupled with the matching larger tiles. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because of the pesky paper backing others have mentioned. This was a HUGE pain. We spent hours tearing it off so our friend didn't have to. Overall, though, very happy with look and quality.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Gencon Lugano mesh mounted mosaic tile
The Lugano color and texture was what I was after. I am pleased with the outcome. My major complaint was that the tiles came boxed with paper sheets separating the mosaic sheets to supposedly protect the tiles from damage. While the intent was good, the paper sheets were adhered so tightly to the mesh backing that each sheet of tile had to be soaked in water to remove the paper backing before the tiles could be installed. Cost an extra hour per box. Consider protecting the sheets with cardboard...............

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ZW4377 Looks great!!
I used these cut in half for an accent strip in my tile shower that used the 8 X 12 tiles (ordered thru the web site because the store didn’t stock it). Everything was great except that it came with a paper backing in addition to the usual mesh. The similar sheets on the shelves were either shrink wrapped with cardboard or no additional backing other than the mesh. I tried to pull it off but only little strips came off. I stopped by the tile dept. and asked them about it, and they had never seen this. They suggested calling the tech. support of the company. On the way home I thought of soaking it in water and scraping it off since it was so thin. That worked great, but after it dried, it loosened the mesh backing. If it wasn’t for this I’d given 5 stars.
