Answer:
When deciding to use this tile I read the reviews first and took SAN's advice on the grout.
NEW TAUPE blends in beautifully with this tile. I was hoping it would look as good as 'he' stated in his answer and it does.

I bought a different tile that's a little lighter and went with a lighter grout. Big mistake, very hard to keep light grout clean on a floor! Go with a dark gray or brown.

We cannot make recommendations to grout color; as this is a personal preference. However, I recommend contacting/visiting a local Home Depot store in which a representative can assist you with choosing the perfect grout color for your application.

kind of like the the wood grain lines, instead of just a smooth finish. I've seen some wood tiles that have texture to that, i love this tile but can't seem to find it in store to see in person.

Answer:
Yes, it has a slight "wood grain" texture to it, instead of flat tile. You should be able to find this line at any Home Depot, and see it up close. There are several different colors, but all with the same texture.

Yes, these have a slight "wood grain" texture to the finished tile top. It looks more realistic than a flat tile with a wood print on it.

I didn't use any grout. It looks more like wood when the tiles are as close together as possible. Grout is just one more things we have to clean.

It is not directional that I noticed while laying it but there is a serial number on some of the sides so make sure you don't have those exposed.

You can orient tiles in any direction. The letters on the corners are quality control reference points used by manufacturer. (I called the company)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE LOVE LOVE this floor! When I decided to "re-do" a bathroom, I was going to put in vinyl flooring (wet room, etc.) mostly due to the ease of installation and expense. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the vinyl didn't work out, and my contractor suggested porcelain tile. I didn't want the hassle and expense of trying to reinforce a raised floor, but he assured me he had a "backer" that would work just fine. I'll save everyone the novel and tell you the floor is BEAUTIFUL. It completely set the tone I was trying to achieve, and it looks a thousand times better than the vinyl would or could. The best part? The cost for the vinyl and the cost for the tile was almost exactly the same! The tile ended up being about $150 more due to grout and sealer, but oh is it worth it! I've included pictures - ignore the walls, we weren't quite finished with the paint/trim touch-up after the floor demo! August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom makeover I installed this in my bathroom that I gutted. I had experience installing simple wall tile, but had never done a floor with long porcelain planks. The cost was very cheap, but the quality did not reflect that. I did my walls in white subway tile with Delorean Gray grout, so I used the same color grout on the floor, even though the suggested color was New Taupe. I could not be more happy with the results. I would definitely purchase this again. July 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Product This tile is beautiful. I put it on a wall but wouldn't hesitate for a moment to put it on a floor or in a shower. Looks so much like REAL old wood. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This looks like real wood. Many compliments I won't lie, alot of the tiles are warped and this is kind of difficult to install but the end result is amazing. Paired Ms International Kensington Mosaic tile and Marazzi Travisano Trevi tile for the wall. All from Home Depot. June 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tile Great tile - texture and color. easy to cut and work with! June 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful wood look tile SOOO very pleased with this wood look tile. Has enough color variation in the wood look to make it actually look like it's real... not just 'grey'. Durability of tile makes this such a great choice for anyone who likes wood flooring without the worry of scratching the floor or having to refinish... install and enjoy for years to come!! seriously! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worth every cent! Tile that looks like old barn wood! Tile is not only durable, easy to keep clean, but it is absolutely gorgeous, makes your home feel so crisp & clean; modern...like a model home. Everyone that has visited has loved the tile. We replaced the carpet & linoleum that was installed when the house was built in the living, dining, breakfast nook, kitchen, entry way, hall and 2 bathrooms. Worth every cent. May 26, 2016
