Product Overview

The MAREY Power Pack 220-Volt tankless electric water heater combines the compact size to be installed almost anywhere with the power to provide endless hot water to a whole house. Its build at high quality standards to lasts many years. It is the only water heater in the market that has the ability to be wired to a 10 Amp, 20 Amp, 30 Amp or 40 Amp breaker. (By wiring the unit to a smaller breaker you are limited to the power setting you can use). The Power pack is a versatile and reliable tankless water heater that can be used either as a point of use or to supply unlimited hot water to a whole apartment or small house. It is also called water heater on demand, because it heats water only when needed, saving energy. It is designed to supply endless hot water for up to 1-2 points of use simultaneously, this greatly depends on your incoming water temperature and flow rate. (for a variety of residential hot-water applications). Its compact design saves space and is easy to install. It is ideal for a 1-2 bathroom house in a tropical climate. For regions with a cooler incoming temperature as found in most of the continental U.S. this would be more suited for a single point of use to achieve optimal performance. The amount of temperature increase will vary on the power setting and the flow rate of water going through the unit. MAREY has been in the water heating business since 1955, bringing tradition and innovation together.

Customer Questions & Answers

How well does the 110 work compared to the 220?

I got the 220 & realized I can use only the 110. Thanks
Asked by: Khuntress
the 220 should heat better and faster and cost less to use,

Amperage setting

The specifications state it can be used with amperage from 10 to 40. There is nothing in the installation guide explaining what is required to make the adaptation. I have a 30 amp breaker. Do I just hook it up to the existing wires? is there an internal setting on this unit that must be adjusted?
Asked by: Dave
I set mine on 40 and works great.

What's the heating capacity at 30 and 20 amps?

The specs give capacity at 40, but I really only have about 30 amps to operate with. Since less power probably means less heating, I'm wondering how "hot" can water get once power is reduced by 25% and 50%
Asked by: RoMa
It has varied amp setting. This is a 220 unit. It has a lower amp setting 20,30 and 40 is top. 40 is the best for this unit as it heats the fastest for the water flow. The less water flow you can do less amp. But i have it at fast nd 40 and its hotter than my ny hot water tank unit.

2.0 GPM Electric Tankless Water Heater Power Pack - 220-Volt is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 39.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not quite as advertised Having to return unit. Installed heater unit in a hunting cabin 86mi away from purchase store, easy install, initial start up & temp output Setting was a breeze. But when trying to mix temp at fixtures (shower & sink) Could never get jt mixed right. Either straight hot scalding hot or cold water. Checked back flow valves, tried regulating inlet/outlet valves, gauge checked psi. Just not happening. As a straight hot water only source for a washing machine I'd say its ok. Expensive but ok. Ended up installing a 20gal standard w/heater

Rated 1 out of 5 by from i bought this product in hopes of eliminating the sulfur smell with my electric hot water tank, i... i bought this product in hopes of eliminating the sulfur smell with my electric hot water tank, i have a water well...If i'd had known that i would have to sacrifice ACTUAL HOT WATER AND WATER PRESSURE to get rid of the smell, i would have kept my old tank. the water cools off too fast to use the other shower and i can shower with out ever turning on the cold water, no steam at all. After about 2 minutes in the shower it runs lukewarm, at best, until it heats up to finish the shower, in the meantime you're standing there freezing. The kitchen water doesn't even get hot enough to wash dishes properly, it cools off too fast. i have to wipe out all the grease and butter off the dishes before i wash them! AND DON'T SHOWER WITH THE DISHWASHER RUNNING BECAUSE THE WATER SLOWS TO A TRICKLE......LITERALLY if this was meant to be used as a hot water booster and not the only source of hot water, than that should be stated very clearly....HATE IT!!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Damaged! We ordered the water heater for our office online. I picked up the item from the location requested. The box was damaged but I didn't think it would be damaged inside. However, when I got it back to the office and gave it to our contractor to install we found it was broken in several pieces! Now, I have to make the 50 mile round trip to return the item!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile tankless I bought this tankless water heater for a commercial glass washer (it's a dishwasher for glasses) that has a cycle time of 90 seconds and needs the wash to be 165 degrees F and the rinse to be 185. It has a built in heater but only has cold water coming in, so it took longer and longer to heat the cold water to temp, 4 or 5 minutes so I started researching tankless electric 220 heaters. Unfortunately, this is one of those items that has a flood of cheap knockoffs that look identical to the good ones so the description was useless. I had to read several reviews for each model (this company has about 9 models that look identical with different power consumption, flow rates and max temp based on incoming water temp). I found this based on several great reviews with little complaints about the threading for the water connectors (they're metric with a converter) and the electrical interface (there isn't one) and being an electrician, these were easily fixed. It has a dial to set the power used from 20 to 50 amps (at 220 that's 4400-11,000 watts!) and it's smaller than a shoebox. I have it set to 20 amps, it comes on for a few seconds for each cycle and churns out 100 degree water so the dishwasher is now cleaning almost 100 glasses every minute and a half, all day long. Good machine, worked right the first time, doesn't have a plug, must be connected by an electrician to an appropriate breaker for the demand. Took me an hour to install.
