This is a great heater: I can set up the output temperature and no matter the water flow it keeps heating the water at the same temperature! We could run 3 showers at the same time, which is a rare occasion but we needed one as the whole family had to go out and the water heater kept the heating capacity just fine! It was easy to install as its size fitted so well that we saved space for other stuff we wanted to keep in the closet. Definitely recommend it.

This product is great but different from a traditional water heater. In coming water temperature and how much water demanded on output all play factors in the heating so I can see how this product may not heat as well or as fast in colder climates but for south east Georgia it has met all expectations. Unlimited hot water is definetly a luxury and at the same price as a tanked water heater it will also save you money. I had the larger wire and breakers done by a professional electrician but ran the plumbing myself and didn't have any problems. In my opinion it's a smart buy we will just have to see if it lasts the lengths of time.

ok so far, works fine for sink (1.5gpm) but had to change shower head, our water inlet temp is 48 degrees,it heats it up to 111, with our old large 2.5 gpm shower head would not come out hot enough
but it is heating the water over 66 degrees not bad for the price.
instructions could be a little more user friendly for the average diy guy,im a contractor and had to read it several times myself to make sense.
warranty on home depot states 5 yr parts and labor but that's not what it says in the warranty paper you get with it,calling mfg to see what they can send me in writing home depot says they don't honor warranty you have to go to mfg period..well either way im buying a back up cause it could take days with out hot water ,been there done that with rheem got exactly what there names says rheemed! thats why i went to this had best warranty (i hope still working on it.....if you power goes out a lot it will be a very cold shower lol, better have a wood stove lol if this don't last im done will go back to the gas w/h sometimes i wish i did........good luck!

Product could not be installed in my home without expensive additional work. It requires 50-amps and my circuit breaker only has 40-amps.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tootoolz Endless Hot Water for the Whole House!
I waited til we had used this for a couple of months before I came back to review it. When I bought it, there were no reviews on it, which made me a little nervous. Happily, several people seem to have bought it when I did, as I am adding to reviews already up.
We bought this unit to serve our little, down-sized house, 2 bedroom 2 bath, and it works like a champ! The trick to regulating the hot water in the shower is to let the hot water get all the way up to temp before turning on the cold tap to mix. We installed this in the small house that we renovated and since it's just the two of us, and it serves our needs well.
The only complaint that I have is that it maxes out at 125 degrees. When I fill my cast iron claw foot tub, the tub will cool the water somewhat. Ok for me, but my husband likes a really HOT soak.I went electric, rather than gas because I plan on generating my own power in the future. :-) This is a great unit at a great price and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to ditch the space hogging, energy guzzling conventional tanks. Our house is so small, that every square inch counts and I wouldn't give up the real estate to install a 40 gallon tank. My husband was a hard-sell, but now that it's in and he's sees how practical it is, he loves it!
On installation: our contractor installed it and he said that he had to call customer support as the instructions were vague, but he said that they were very helpful and courteous!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by FANOFU terrible unit
I purchased this Marey unit and have had issue after issue. The unit I purchased came broken. I of course found that out after my plumber charged me to install it. I also of course had to pay the cost of installing new electrical (you need 100 dedicated amps) and various other fittings needed to make the unit work. I then had to remove this unit and re-install my old water heater. I contacted Marey and I had to pay to ship my unit back to them even though it came broken. As I didn’t have much choice I did that. A “new” unit came without any instructions, had clear water marks on the exterior, and had none of the original packaging. After paying my plumber to come out again and spending more money at Home Depot the unit did not work. Jason (who works at Marey) told me the heating coils were not working properly. Marey now wants me to send them my unit and they will again send me another unit. That means I have to pay the plumber two more times. HEED MY ADVICE AND DO NOT BUY THIS UNIT!
