Is the texture on this sufficiently smooth in order to paint and use as wall paneling? Or, is it too rough/textured?

## Can I bend a 73" length into a 24" circle?

Can I bend a 73" length into a 24" circle?
With some help from "kerfing" the wood you could, otherwise, it would not bend that much on its own. If you are not familiar with kerfing, it is just a matter of making some cross cuts in the 3 3/4" side. Typically each cut only leaves a 1/16" left of material, but you could leave a 1/8" in this thinner product. There is actually a mathematical formula to figure out where to place each kerf based on the overall diameter of the curve you are trying to make. Take you 6.28' board, make 48 evenly spaced marks, then with a table saw or circular saw, cut 3/4 of the way through the board. Once done, the board will form into a circle fairly easily (cuts on the outside). Go to the "Tube" website and search "Kerfing MDF" for a more thorough explanation.

## Can this be cut and used as sofa support beams?

It would bend very easily in this scenario, I would recommend using plywood or thicker MDF.
