1.2 cu. ft. All Steel Hotel Safe with Electronic Lock, Cream is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The safe fit perfectly on the intended shelf. It's... The safe fit perfectly on the intended shelf. It's not burglar proof, but great for keeping things out of little hands. The electronic lock did not work at first, but a quick call to customer service resolved the issue (wire came loose during shipping). Excellent customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good value for the money It is great that I don't have to use a touchy dial to open this safe. It's tough to make a mistake when all you have to do is slide a card or remember 4 to 6 numbers that you created yourself. If anyone is looking for security for their valuables and don't want a big heavy expensive safe that is costly to install then this is for you. It was for me and I am glad I made the purchase. One great feature of this safe is that if you forget your combination to open then you have a fail-safe set of numbers that you can enter to open it as well as a key that also works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good, Low-Cost Lock Box This is more of a lock box than a safe, as the construction is not heavy-guage steel, though it seems very solid. Has pre-drilled holes to mount to the floor or to the wall. I mounted mine on the wall -- holes are at 12" centers. Instruction manual makes programming the primary code and back-up code easy. The bolts retract quickly once the code is entered, so the contents can be accessed quickly if need be. Hinges and bolts are concealed. Though there is a little bit of play on the door, because the bolts do not seat 100% snug behind the catch. It is a little annoying punching in the code with the door moving back and forth every time you hit a key. I'm thinking of getting some weather-strip to put along the lip where the inside of the door makes contact with the safe to eliminate that play. All-in-all, seems like a great lock box, but I'm no expert. There is a video on YouTube where a guy reviews several safes and lock boxes at a comparable (or even higher price-point) as this safe. Those safes seemed very easy to break into. I wish he reviewed this one, as I would think it would hold up better than most of the others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what we were looking for. So far we are very pleased with the safe. It looks nice, has ample space, appears strong/solid/durable, fits on our shelf nicely, and operates easily (once we figured out how). From reading the reviews, we were concerned about having a problem being locked out of the safe. Parts of the instructions were confusing. After some trial and error, we finally understood how to operate it. For example: instructions that show - enter: * - *, led us to initially think we needed to enter 3 characters. To us it would be clearer to show - enter: * twice. We changed the factory set code and set up the card reader. The card reader feature is one of the main reasons we chose this safe. It is more convenient than entering a code every time. When we moved it the card reader stopped working. After several attempts of trying to use the key pad and getting a couple of lockout penalties, we discovered that the two #'s have to be entered in quick succession. Then we were able to program the card reader again. The door has to be unlocked for programming. Except for the unclear instructions, we are very satisfied with the safe.
