Checked out a multitude of safes in person and online and chose this one. Was not disappointed. It is built like a tank but is easy to operate. Overall quality seems very good. Delivery was great via truck line at no cost. Especially like the UL rating. Only issue was the metric hardware supplied and the hole provided in the safe to bolt it to the floor. Hardware is inadequate and hole is not large enough for US hardware. Fortunately I'm handy so a trip to Home Depot for hardware and larger drill bit got me what I needed. Took longer than it should have but now that it's securely bolted to the floor I qualified for an insurance discount.

Very dependable safe. With safeguards for failure of batteries with external battery entry to change out the batteries. Very satisfied.

The electronic lock is easy to set-up and use. The extra lockable box inside is a very nice added feature.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cole built like a tank
It really is built like a tank and as heavy as one. The only draw back I had with the whole thing is that what looked like feet in the picture are actually wheels. Witch will just make it harder to mount if you so choose to do so. I really think if you are looking for a quality safe anything within the brand itself you will be just fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JDiggs High quality product, even better price.
Mesa makes high quality steel safes and this one has the 1 hour U.L. fire rating that I was looking for. Home Depot had this product for over $100 cheaper than I could find anywhere else. Nice size and can be bolted down.
