Exactly what I needed for my bathroom update. Quality, price and availability were great. Installation was relatively painless.

The first order was lost in shipping. Reordered ( with a 10% courtesy discount) and product arrived as promised and on time.
Installation is not a lot of fun however one person can accomplish it (beats cursing at the wife).
First off, scan and print the template. Cut out the templates (attach a piece of double sided tape to the back of the template) and try and find a stud in the general location of where you want to mount the rod (a stud finder is a great help). The provided Molly bolts work fine for drywall, however a stud is a much more secure attachment point (IMHO).
Although the instructions don't mention it, the cover plates have a front and a back, put them on wrong and you are going to do the whole installation again. The last major hassle is getting the plastic sleeves on the rods aligned (this probably took 15 minutes).
Overall it is a very nice Rod. The installation is no fun, however there are a lot of things in life that aren't a lot of fun.

I installed this by myself. I had to drill through tile and hardiboard and drywall to use special wall anchors because the provided mollies would not work. That is not the fault of the manufacturer. The provided mollies would have worked perfectly if I had been mounting directly to drywall.
The cutout templates were dead on. The way it all connects at the plates seems unnecessarily unwieldy. I'm not sure why they made it this way. But regardless, it works well.
DO NOT USE plastic wall anchors for mounting this. They are not strong enough. The provided mollies are the perfect anchors for mounting this. If you don't know how to use them, google it. They are awesome and perfect.
A second set of hands would have been helpful. It really is a 2 person job.
The rod itself is a bit flimsy. I was disappointed about that. We'll see how it holds up. Something heavier duty would have its drawbacks too. I just expected something more substantial.
Finally, you cannot have a curved shower rod that installs via tension. This rod uses bolts to secure it, which is the only method to secure a curved shower rod.

Difficult to install. Need second person to hold end up until screw can be put in each side. The rod and covers are metal, but the pins that hold the rod into a plastic mount plate are plastic. Had picked screw mount over pressure mount because was wanting a strong rod in case anyone put a towel on it to dry. If I had to do it again I would choose pressure mount instead.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by handyman Like the product, but harder than heck to put up.
Thought it would take up to 20 minutes to put up, but ended taking 2.5 hours. Here is why, the screws that come with the wall anchors are so short, they do not screw in. The metal anchors threads are at the very bottom. I had to pull the anchors out which made a mess and ended up putting plastic ones from the garage. The threads are at the beginning of the plastic anchor. With a little patching, I finally got it up only to have another problem with the plastic connectors. It seemed to have stretched and couldn't get it in. My suggestion is to glue it to the metal first before putting it together. Perhaps the manufacturer should have done this first. Finally, even though the caps feel like cheap plastic, I am going to caulk around since they do not tightly cap around.... Hope this helps. Finally, is not true stainless steel, I was expecting something more thicker, stronger in metal.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gerald Great shower curtain rod.
Looks great. No more pulling over the decorative curtain. Added room.
One caution. Fasteners provided will only work on hollow dry wall. If obstructed make a trip to hardware for better wall wallboard anchors. I used #8 nylon. Also you may want to caulk around wall mounts for cleaner look. No gaps. I love it.

We purchased this item a month ago and installed it shortly after and had no real difficulties. We did need to measure a few times since this isn't a typical tension shower rod but it didn't take long at all. The covers that go over the portion you screw into the wall aren't completely flush but it's hardly noticeable. We use one rod for the double shower curtain and the outer one to hang our towels on. Overall good product.
