Although the mounting hardware is not included, I am still very pleased with this rod, it adds a ton of room to the shower interior.

I hate it when reviewers passing wrong information. Some people say that it was a challenge to cut it to the correct length. So I bought a power metal cutter with a circular blade. I tried it but I didn't like the sparks. I quickly switched to my hack saw with an OLD metal cutting blade. It cut it through like butter under 1 min! Faster than cutting a wooden rod because it is hollow! Nothing like some people complained. They must have used a wood cutting blade. That said, the vendor should offer a size that is 1 cm shorter to avoid cutting by many people.
I like the end result. Smooth gliding of the curtain rings.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by flowers smooth rod is nice
I bought this model to avoid the "seam" of the adjustable rods, and am glad I did. The challenges of cutting the rod were worth the daily issues of pulling the curtain rings over a seam in the rod. That being said, the installation is a bit challenging especially if you have to make it shorter. It is a sturdy piece of metal that took some effort to cut through even with a brand new blade in the saw. I've had some difficulty getting the cover to fasten over one end of mounting hardware. The low profile allows the shower curtain to hang right against the wall and completely cover the shower unit. The extra space created by the curve i the rod makes the shower area feel significantly larger.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rich How is it 1 year later
I purchased this in late 2013 and installed it January 2014. It installed easily and does give the extra room. As a functional item it is wonderful. It does the trick. Now how did it hold up. We have 4 people taking daily showers and I have noticed rust on the underside of the bar. I have the Marriott Hotel style shower curtain holder. They have the little balls on top and nothing touches the underside where the rust is located. I could see if something was touching the underside, but nothing touches it. We have a bathroom fan the runs most of the day, so I didn't think humidity would be the issue. My son is 6'7" and it might be some splash from him getting on the shower rod. I noticed the rust about 2 months ago. I finally decided to call Moen and get a replacement after my SO said something. That is one of the wonderful things about Moen, they replace EVERYTHING!!!!!! I really don't want to take it apart to put it another back up.

The Shower curtain rod(s) are great. They are simple and beautiful and look fantastic in my bathrooms. I was looking for something modern and these did not disappoint. They were installed by our contractor, so can't comment on the ease of install. They look great, function great, and I would definitely recommend them.

Arrived quickly, well-packed, with useful instructions. We have wood behind drywall for sturdy side mount. We were a little more than perfect distance between walls but end brackets and caps worked very well to hold and cover. Added nice shoulder room at the top without crowding adjacent toilet.
Looks great too. We ended up using shower curtains with the built-in cut outs at the top which eliminated the need for metal hooks.

I LOVED this shower rod until today. Why in the world is there rust on it???!!!! It's on the underside near the center, no less, so I can't imagine it's from damage caused by the shower curtain rings or anything else for that matter. Also, it's only been up 2 months!
