I ordered the shower curtain rod in Chrome and picked it up at the store. Installation was very easy. You can adjust the length as needed. It is also very sturdy. I've had it for over a month and it is still hanging strong and looks great! There's more elbow room in the shower just like at the hotel. You will not be disappointed if you buy this.

installing a second one would be so easy. I had to think about doing this for the first time and drilling into tile took some thought too. The caps at the end were a bit of a puzzle since the tabs that hold them in place and rotate it had me perplexed how one end was so easy and the other wasn't working. once I rotated the inner piece of black plastic back into place at the end of the rod, voila.

Removed 30 year old tub / shower doors and installed the rod into the wall tile. All went well and we are pleased with the outcome.

Great rod. Does seem like more room in the shower. Only reason installation was tricky was because hubby wasn't positive where studs were. He figured it out. No issues at all.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by onescrewlarry Nice product. Poor installation instructions
The rod looks great and will hopefully hold up well. Decorative covers fit nicely and the extra room created was just what I was looking for. However, the installation instructions were incomplete. The mounting template doesn't show which holes to use for drywall and only which holes to use for a stud or tile install. When looking at the installation instructions on their website, the arrows are displayed for a drywall install. However, those instructions also say that there are 6 anchors included and to be used for drywall. Mine only came with 4 anchors and I agree that it needs 6. Poor quality control is not something I'm used to from Moen. It's simple to buy more anchors, but it should have come with them and a complete template.

Nice shower curtain rod for the money. Make sure you use the proper bit when installing thru ceramic tile. Would purchase again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by fastrgv moen adjustable shower rod
Adjustable is definitely the way to go. Simply put the "seam" away from the side that gets the most curtain sliding. Then measure twice and drill once. It's pretty easy. Just be careful not to make the hole in the drywall too big for those inserts. Leave the screw in the insert while lightly tapping with a small hammer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hawk I purchased one, then got two more.
Installed the first one without issue, and while I purchased for more room in the tub for taking a shower, turns out it looks real good in a smaller bath also. I went on line and found a far better price at Home Depot over Lowes and Ace.
We have Martha Stewart towel bars/etc in the bath, and these matched design real well.
Only one issue on the last one. Turns out the position I wanted to put it at was right on the edge of a stud. I just moved out a half inch and attached to stud, but they don't provide screw for that, but I had 1 5/8 we decking screws that worked fine.
