Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Change We went with the entire 90 Degree line from Moen for our bathroom remodel. The towel bars are very well made and complete the package. April 23, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointing Quality, works as a magazine rack Props to Moen for a cool looking design, but marks against them for poor execution. I ordered 3 of these - one to use as a magazine rack, and 2 for towels. 2 of the three arrived with severely pitted chrome, and the third has swirl marks as if the chrome had been applied over a brushed finish. First, I called Moen, to see if unblemished replacements could be send, but was told that customer service had no way to inspect articles before they were shipped to assure quality, but that they could replace them under warranty. After spending some time with chrome polish (about 30 minutes for all three) I was able to remove most of the marks from the chrome. The rest of the fit is also not great - the bars rattle, and I had to wrap the ends with tape prior to assembly to make them fit tight - in hindsight, a bit of clear silicon put inside the bar would achieve the same result. Also, the clearances between the parts was not consistent from bar to bar - two of them had pretty tight visual clearances, and the third had much larger visual gaps. On the plus side, the mounting brackets are heavier than the normal cheap stamped bracket that you get on a cheaper towel bar Also, the thin cross bar works good as a magazine rack - you can simple drop the magazine over it, with the bar in between the pages. In summary - it is a very clean design - Moen should keep in mind that clean designs require equally clean execution and quality, or they fall short. In the end they look nice, but for the quality, they should have cost half the price. January 8, 2014
