Customer Reviews

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lucky find Our house is only 6 years old but within two months the faucet hose leaked and the faucet was loose. We thought this was a Moen, but we could not find any brand name on it or on any paperwork left with the house. We had a plumber check it over and he thought he could fix it but it turned out no, for the 150.00 repair visit. Luckily this was a match so the install went well for my husband, he did it in less than 30 minutes. This one has Moen stamped on two areas. All is working well and the warranty has been registered with Moen. We were hoping for a lifetime warranty on the original but could not prove the maker of the faucet. They say a Moen is for life so we spent more to get that coverage. Thank goodness for the internet so we could find the correct replacement that fits. We also checked a local supplier and saved over 150.00 at Home Depot for the same faucet. January 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful product and crazy good service After 13 years of hard use our Aberdeen faucet developed a leak which plumbers said could not be repaired. Have always loved the elegant look of this faucet so I was sad to think I'd have to find a replacement. We tried Moen's lifetime warranty, thinking we'd have to go through all kinds of hoops. But Moen really does stand behind their promise of lifetime! We called the support line, explained our situation and for a minimal shipping and handling fee received a whole new faucet kit in 2 days!!!! I will forever be a lifetime Moen user. January 15, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheapy- leaky leaky Poor design, quality and materials. Plastic components on the faucet handle have cracked and are causing leaks. Second time in 4 years with average use I had to replace insert cartridge and associated threaded plastic parts.Very difficult to determine and find correct replacement parts. Pull down nozzle head already hanging limp and does not retract correctly. Metal surface treatment corroding and chipping off. I really expected more than a nice looking faucet unit. May 6, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buy it for life motto The faucet is as they say, very easy to install, easier than any faucet I have ever seen or installed in 20 years. The faucet itself works great, with the pause button you can get things done you normally have to stop to to do, The part I ike best is their promise of "When you buy a Moen, you buy it for life!" which has turned out to be so true. I've had a couple parts go bad over time as expected, made one simple call, gave them the information needed, they sent out replacement parts right away. I'll only buy Moen faucets after this. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moen and this faucet rock I had this faucet installed for about 7 years when the handle loosened and it became stiff to adjust the water. This is a life time warranty faucet, so I called Moen and they sent out replacement parts, plus tools so you don't have to go out and buy a basin wrench. All free. The instructions were pictures and were abysmal, but I called Moen back and they helped me over the phone. The stiffness was it needed a new cartridge (also sent by Moen.) Bottom line is this is a beautiful faucet. I love the pull-down spray, the high arch to get pots under, and Moen backs up their products and has friendly, capable people working their customer service line. October 21, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Love it, but not built to last After using this faucet for 5 years, there are several issues that I am having to address. The sprayer wand is worn out and leaks around the buttons, and it doesn't fully retract back into the spout anymore because the housing has physically slipped. Additionally, the little plastic piece in the valve that many of the other reviewers have complained about has also broken on me, rendering it useless until a replacement arrives. I'm going to go ahead and keep this faucet because I can purchase the repair parts for less money than a whole new faucet, but if I had it to do over again, I would find a model that is more durable. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lots of problems We built a home with Moen Aberdeen fixtures throughout the home. 2 Kitchen, 4 Shower, 3 Tub, 6 Bathroom sink. I have had minor problems with the Bathroom Sink fixtures, buth nothing I couldn't fix. I'm ok with them. However, the Kitchen fixtures are not good at all. Low flow has developed, the end of one came off and is lost, they come loose and fall apart, the single handle unit twists around, the double handle units twist around. I like the pullout feature, but the quality is really poor. In two new homes built the last 15 years, these are easily the worst faucets I've used from a quality standpoint. I do like how they look, and I like the pullout spout. July 30, 2010
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Leaks after 4 years We built a new home 4 years ago, and this was one of my wife's favorite purchases. We recommended this to several friends. It was expensive, but we felt it was worth the cost. We were very disappointed when it started leaking a month ago. We got a replacement cartridge that didn't fix the problem. There is a small, plastic piece that is broken. We haven't been able to find the piece in our area. We thought this faucet would "last a lifetime" or 10 years minimum without problems. We have a small household, so I wouldn't recommend this for a household that has many people and high useage. Waiting to see if Moen can help us soon. September 12, 2011
