Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage defective in 2 places! Had to return this rod. First issue - It's supposed adjust in length with a "twist and lock", but the plastic mechanism on the inside that is supposed to lock the 2 ends of the rod in place does not engage with the rods, so while the plastic mechanism "twists and locks" on the inside, the 2 ends of the rod do not lock at all and slide around. Second issue - The plastic part at the end of the rod that's supposed to touch the wall is shorter than the metal rim, so the metal rim ends up touching and scratching your walls, but it really wasn't an issue for me since the rod didn't lock in place to touch the walls for any period of time anyway. Moen should recall this product, there's no reason something as simple as a curtain rod should have 2 operational defects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great so far.... Great so far but isn't everything when new? It was very easy to hang and looks great. It has not fallen like some have report. I made sure I was exerting outward pressure on both rods as I rotated to lock in place. I think that is the secret. Now only time will tell whether this rod will stay shiny and new with no rust. I report back on 6 months and give an update.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid Product I am pleased with this tension rod so far. It is an attractive chrome finish, installed very easily and works well. It's nice I didn't have to drill any new holes into the tiles. It holds my shower curtain and liner easily. At first I didn't have it tightened enough and it fell down, but when I adjusted it a second time, I have had no troubles after that. The price point is good for this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shower rod! High quality shower rod. Easy to install and stays firmly in place. Securely holds shower decorative fabric curtain and shower curtain. Displays beautifully with all the other chrome accents in guest bathroom.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this shower rod I have to admit that I have never been a huge fan of tension rods. The new moen tension shower rod, however, has changed my opinion for life. The shower rod arrived with a beautiful brushed finish that matches my other bathroom fixtures perfectly, so I had a great feeling about it from the start. The rod was beyond easy in terms of installation, and it feels much more "sturdy" compared to other shower rods I have worked with in the past. A sturdy rod with good tension means that your bathroom walls will stay in great shape, and I have no doubts that this shower rod will be a great addition to our home for years to come. I highly recommend this shower rod!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from frustrating This shower rod gets 2 stars only because it looks good. It has fallen down 5 times. It is now sitting on my bed with the curtain attached. I am lucky it did not chip any of my new bathroom floor or sink when it came down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trash This shower curtain rod keeps falling down. I returned the first one thinking it was defective and the second one is doing the same thing. Total piece of junk.
