Is the plastic gasket that goes underneath base supposed to show? I had a plumber install Adler faucet incorrectly (gasket was not lined up/base of faucet was flush with sink in front and gasket sticking out about 1 cm in back) and when I went to adjust it noticed the gasket shows all around. Is it supposed to be that way or is the base of faucet supposed to sit flush with sink?

Adler Single-Handle Low Arc Standard Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Chrome is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 134.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Easy Install This was probably the easiest kitchen faucet install I've ever done, supply lines are already attached, and the sprayer line is a very simple push in type, there is no "thud" at the faucet after using the sprayer like another product that I'm replacing with this one. I haven't seen any leaks in the two days that it's been installed. The only thing I see at present is that the lever doesn't seem to have much drag to it, you can lift it with one finger, I hope this doesn't mean the seal may leak in the future or not shut off, there also seems to be a little more travel to move from the cold to hot side, but not a deal breaker for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install? I just bought and installed this faucet today. It looks nice, and functions well. Obviously, I can't comment on its durability. I'm hoping that the Duralast ceramic cartridge will be less fussy than the old 1225 was. I'm writing this review to comment about one part of the installation process. The faucet is mounted to the sink with two mounting brackets, spacing sleeves, and mounting nuts. This would be no problem with two hands, but my space under the sink is very tight, and I could only reach the mounting shank, etc. with one hand. I was able to do it one handed. but it wasn't easy. Otherwise, the installation was not problematic, once I removed the old faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced a Moen kitchen faucet The original Moen faucet had been in place since 2006 . Within the last year, the handle would wobble every now and then. I tightened it by using an appropriate size hex wrench. (hex head bolt). This last time, I used a little to much torque in trying to tighten the bolt and broke it. I had no choice but to buy "another Moen". There was no way I could have remove the broken bolt! I have used Moen products not only at my current home but at previous homes I have owned, and also have used them at my mother-in-law's home. Very durable and dependable products, plus the great warranty is like money in the bank!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent faucet! Installation simply just couldn't be any easier. Some of the reviews mentioned they wish the instructions would say if caulk or tape needed to be used anywhere. No mention--no need. We were holding onto our 20 yr old Delta because we were afraid a new one would not have enough water flow. The Adler CA87530 by Moen faucet actually has better flow than our old Delta. I read where some folks had problems with leaks at the connection where the spray hose connected to the supply tube. Before assembly of this type I always lubricate the o ring with some silicone grease. This helps to insure a good seal as well as lubricate the connection since there will be some movement here when you use the sprayer. DO NOT use petroleum based products as they will damage the o-ring Hope this is some help.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feed Lines The box stated that the water lines were attached to the faucet to save a step. If the length was stated which happens to be almost 2 feet I would have considered another brand. From the bottom of the faucet to my main water lines was only 6 inches. What do I do with the rest of the hose??? I had to make 3 loops for each line and tape them together. Not a very neat installation. Likewise the sprayer hose line is much to long.and gets caught on knobs and valves under the sink.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Moen lives on! This faucet does not lose the temp setting when briefly shutting it off - that is, the single handle does not go to the center position and lose one's working temperature. That is a vital feature that Moen has! Others that may look the same do not. Advice for outside of box: A note regarding the type of connection, metal or plastic, on the 2 supply drops would be appreciated. The shutoff valves can be either in a home. Example: "Connects to standard metal shutoffs"

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just installed and working I like the setup of the Moen Adler, all three connections (hot/cold/sprayer) through the center slot and easy to install. The extra length on the water lines makes for easy to reach water connections and the spray hose connection was super simple. Everything seems to be working seamlessly as of right now so, we'll see how it is in two months or so, I am assuming great and that's why we bought it.
