What type of water filter can be atached to this faucet?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello Jeffreyfab1 and thank you for your interest in Moen products. The MOEN Adler Single Handle Low Arc Kitchen Faucet with Side Spray in Chrome like many of our standard faucets is capable of being hooked up to a water filtering product or a portable washing device(dishwasher, washing machine or rug scrubber). The component that is the key to ensuring a filtering device can be attached is an adapter. This part is usually obtained from the manufacturer of the filtering product. If you have additional questions, please complete the form at http://www.moen.com/consumer-support/contact-us or call Moen at 1-800-289-6636. Our business hours are 8:00 am – 7:00 pm Monday through Friday and 9:00 am – 3:00 pm on Saturday EST. We are here to provide support and ensure you will be satisfied with your Moen product.

Adler Single-Handle Low Arc Standard Kitchen Faucet with Side Sprayer in Chrome is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 227.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Easy Install This was probably the easiest kitchen faucet install I've ever done, supply lines are already attached, and the sprayer line is a very simple push in type, there is no "thud" at the faucet after using the sprayer like another product that I'm replacing with this one. I haven't seen any leaks in the two days that it's been installed. The only thing I see at present is that the lever doesn't seem to have much drag to it, you can lift it with one finger, I hope this doesn't mean the seal may leak in the future or not shut off, there also seems to be a little more travel to move from the cold to hot side, but not a deal breaker for the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy install? I just bought and installed this faucet today. It looks nice, and functions well. Obviously, I can't comment on its durability. I'm hoping that the Duralast ceramic cartridge will be less fussy than the old 1225 was. I'm writing this review to comment about one part of the installation process. The faucet is mounted to the sink with two mounting brackets, spacing sleeves, and mounting nuts. This would be no problem with two hands, but my space under the sink is very tight, and I could only reach the mounting shank, etc. with one hand. I was able to do it one handed. but it wasn't easy. Otherwise, the installation was not problematic, once I removed the old faucet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replaced a Moen kitchen faucet The original Moen faucet had been in place since 2006 . Within the last year, the handle would wobble every now and then. I tightened it by using an appropriate size hex wrench. (hex head bolt). This last time, I used a little to much torque in trying to tighten the bolt and broke it. I had no choice but to buy "another Moen". There was no way I could have remove the broken bolt! I have used Moen products not only at my current home but at previous homes I have owned, and also have used them at my mother-in-law's home. Very durable and dependable products, plus the great warranty is like money in the bank!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from questionable quality After having 7 Moen products in my house for 30 plus years that is what i went with when I needed to replace the one I had in my kitchen. The replace product seems to be made very cheaply of plastic with few metal parts typical of foreign made products. My older Moen products had some substance to them most are thirty years old and still doing fine. The only reason for replacing the kitchen one is because it would not come apart to replace o-rigs so it would not drip. Lets see if this cheaply made replacement holds up for thirty years. Only time will tell

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent faucet! Installation simply just couldn't be any easier. Some of the reviews mentioned they wish the instructions would say if caulk or tape needed to be used anywhere. No mention--no need. We were holding onto our 20 yr old Delta because we were afraid a new one would not have enough water flow. The Adler CA87530 by Moen faucet actually has better flow than our old Delta. I read where some folks had problems with leaks at the connection where the spray hose connected to the supply tube. Before assembly of this type I always lubricate the o ring with some silicone grease. This helps to insure a good seal as well as lubricate the connection since there will be some movement here when you use the sprayer. DO NOT use petroleum based products as they will damage the o-ring Hope this is some help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Faucet Replacement We needed a faucet replacement because our American Standard faucet was leaking and it became a discontinued model. I looked at consumer ratings and decided if 93% would recommend this model I would take a chance on it. This was the only faucet model in the price range I wanted to spend that had a higher consumer rating then other models from the other manufacturers. It has the spray unit as one unit on the faucet. Our other faucet it was a separate spray unit. I would have preferred the spray unit separate but that was not a deal breaker. It was very easy to install and it appears to be working just fine. I cannot rate the durability of it because we have not had the faucet but for a couple of days. However, on ease of installation and it working just fine I would recommend this unit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Feed Lines The box stated that the water lines were attached to the faucet to save a step. If the length was stated which happens to be almost 2 feet I would have considered another brand. From the bottom of the faucet to my main water lines was only 6 inches. What do I do with the rest of the hose??? I had to make 3 loops for each line and tape them together. Not a very neat installation. Likewise the sprayer hose line is much to long.and gets caught on knobs and valves under the sink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kitchen Sink Faucet With all the new faucets out there where the sprayer comes out of the spout itself, it was exciting to find just the good old fashioned sink faucet with the separate sprayer. I have a coffee maker that needs to be cleaned out every 3 days and the sprayer does an excellent job of doing that without having to use extra tools (brushes, etc.) to get the job done. Well done, Moen! Keep on manufacturing the products us "everyday" people want and making it look very "up to date".
