Questions & Answers

does this faucet come with the deck plate (Escutcheon) or does it need to be purchased separately?

currently I have a 3 hole sink but will move to a one hole sink when I remodel the kitchen. Unfortunately the faucet needs to be replaced now so I will want to reinstall this faucet with the new sink.

Is this or is this not a motion sensing faucet?

Many of the (negative) reviews refer to the motion sensor not working. From the product description for the 7594SRS, I think this is NOT a motion sense faucet. So what gives?

Can water control lever be installed on the left, instead of on the right?

We just received our MOEN Model # 7594SRS, and would like to have the lever on the left, since that's the hand we always use to turn the water on & off. Is that possible to do with this faucet?
Asked by: dollfriend
We ended up installing it in the front. The only disadvantages are that you have to make sure the faucet isn't over your arm, when you turn it on; and people have to know (and remember) that HOT is in the middle! Other than that, we really like the faucet.

Less than 12 months after my contractor installed this faucet in my new kitchen, a hose sprung a leak, within the housing. Moen was good to overnight a new part but I had to pay for a plumber and the worst part was the water damage to my new custom cabinet. Now, a year later, a workman bumped the faucet putting a window ledge in and the faucet became loose. However, there is no way to tighten it again. Even the plumber said there is no threading to tighten it and I need a new faucet. I don't even want to call Moen at this point-too many issues and too much hassle. You should be able to tighten the faucet... going with Koehler this time.

Have had this faucet for 10 months now, the hose which goes from the water connections to the faucet head somehow got a small leak. I noticed there was air in the line over the last several days but did not investigate very far thinking it was just the system. So Saturday I decided to investigate further, upon pulling down the faucet head and turning the water on a small stream of water started shooting out. So at this point I looked under the sink only to find water standing and the bottom of our custom cabinets warped (bubbled). Moen will not pay for the repair of the cabinet which will cost us $785. It was good while it lasted which was 10 months, with their refusal to pay for damages and becoming defective in 10 months I cannot recommend this product and say beware of any Moen products. I'm sure mine was the 1 in 100 but fix it and make your customers happy and they wont leave bad recommendations!

I love my new Moen pull-down faucet in stainless steel with the brushed finish! It was installed two weeks ago, by a plumber, and he seemed to have no problem installing it. It is just as advertised: hides water spots and finger prints, the pull-down mechanism works great (it retracts with no problem at all), and the spray/pause button is a great feature. I also bought the matching soap dispenser. I would definitely recommend this faucet. (Sorry, but I tried to furnish a picture that includes the matching soap dispenser but the picture-sizing requirement wouldn't allow it. They do look beautiful together if you want a soap dispenser!)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought this faucet during a major renovation. I thought it would be fun to have. It is stunning! I find I never use the handle. It is beautiful and extremely convenient.I gave it a 3 for installation because of the extra time it took the plumber to read the instructions/the difficulty he had installing the faucet.$$$

But only 16 months after installation, a cheap, China-sourced, UNREPLACABLE, plastic part that connects the discharge water outlet to the hose, unexpectedly broke, flooding my cabinet with water! Unbelievable, this short, discharge water outlet hose is inaccessible and impossible to remove. In fact, it doesn't have a replacement part number on the Moen exploded view parts listing. But if you check-out the ratings for this specific model on a world-famous, internet retailer, your find SIX pages of 1-star ratings because of similar part failures and water leeks causing flooded cabinets and wood floor warping. So beware of this product comprised of no-quality, cheap, plastic, China-sourced parts! Certainly NOT worth the money.

I had this kitchen faucet and I really liked it until the handle to turn it on and off fell off. I tried to put it back on but it was not going to stay on. I had this faucet installed two years ago and now have no choice but to buy a new kitchen faucet. I don't have the box and I don't have the receipt. I would recommend not buying this product because this should not have happened so soon. I am really upset about this because now I have to get a plumber tomorrow morning to install a new faucet and my husband is ill and is unable to help me. I wish I knew how to add a photo to show you how nice it still is, but not working without the handle and being able to control how to turn it on and off. Very sad!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Faucet I purchased this faucet in October 2016 and have had no problems since purchased 11 months ago. Love the high arc and that it can move 360 degrees around. Handle works well and is not too close to hit window sill. Love the spray feature which sprays at a faster rate than the regular stream. Great when you need to fill a container quickly. Purchased this faucet at a plumbing supply house. Box says it was assembled in the US of US and foreign parts. Paid a bit more than box stores but i have had no problems and glad to see it was assembled in the U S.
