I am interested in buying this model. HD price is less than the plumbing store. I was told that the guts in the big box store are Cheaper. I don't see how that would be possible since both carry the same model number. Any quality difference depending on where purchased?

Answer:
I haven't seen a model from a plumbing store, but the one I recieved from Home Depot was exactly the same as the one shown on Moen's website. VERY high quality faucet. Follow Moen's detailed installation instructions to the letter, especially when it comes to rinsing out the lines, and you'll have no problems. My wife and I are very happy with this faucet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5 by 64 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to find nice looking black faucets. This one looks good but I'm used to a centered control faucet so am having to get used to switching the tea pot to my left hand to fill it with water, etc. It was just installed a few days ago so I can tell much about it longevity. My last faucet, a Moen also, lasted 10 years - which I consider too short but I don't know what the life-expectancy of faucets is. October 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Quality Faucet This faucet is exactly as pictured online, looks great, and my husband installed it without problems! June 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking Faucet Just had this faucet installed and it looks great. There were no problems with the installation and it adds class to my kitchen. Glad I purchased it. The water pressure is slightly less than my old faucet but I can live with that. April 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product I am not a plumber, but I thought the product was easy to install even though installation directions were not the greatest. It is nice and light and my family is happy with product September 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it It was very easy to install. It looks great. I have read some reviews about water pressure being low, but I think it is just right. Our new sink is deep and the faucet is high, if the water comes out too fast it splashes up out of the sink. I would not want the water pressure any higher. August 23, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by fits a niche but could be better I will preface by saying I have several Moen products installed in my home because if its quality and their superior customer support. That being said, when I redid my kitchen, I have a shorter than normal height between the counter and wall cabinet. That gave me a very limited number of pull out/ down faucets that would fit under my wall cabinets. The Arbor was one of them so we chose it. It was Professionally installed (the first time). Aesthetically and functionally, the faucet is great. It does what it has to do. The problem started when in less than a year, the spout separated from the base with no explanation. This could not be repaired so Moen sent me a new faucet (amazing customer service) I installed that one with no problems and less than a year later...again, the spout came loose from the base. Again, Moen send me a third faucet. (Thank goodness the install is easy!) Fast forward almost another year and this faucet is holding up better BUT I found a leak in my base cabinet recently. I noticed a portion of the pull out hose where is meets the spray head was leaking. The hose is woven not metal and whether this caused its failure, I don't know. Three faucets and a failed hose in 3 years is not the quality I have experienced from Moen however, their really do stand behind their products which keeps me as a customer. August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Faucet! Love it! Beautiful, solid design and matches the SS sink perfectly. Installation was a breeze, easier than other faucets I have installed. The instructions were clear with a lot of illustrations to guide you through the process. The only thing I would add, is keep track of the small o-rings that seal the water lines. One of mine traveled up the hose and caused the water to run slowly until I discovered what had happened! July 4, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Faucet review Overall product is rated good to excellent. The quality is very good and its a nice looking faucet. Installation was very easy - no issues. My only minor complaint is that the water inlet tubing is small in diameter and this causes the water pressure to be lower that my previous faucets I have had in the past. More noticeable when using the spray feature - a little more water pressure would be better. I am sure its a water saving thing. Its a small issue overall, nothing that would stop me from recommending it. December 9, 2014
