Does this faucet have plastic valve components or metal?

I have a newer kitchen faucet that has plastic internals. Our city water supply has enough minerals in it that over time the faucet now squeaks every time you open and close the faucet valve. An older bathroom faucet we have with metal valves does not do this. I want metal !
Asked by: Jimmy
Main faucet and parts are metal, but the sprayer attachment is plastic.

Asked by: Michelle
After installing, did you remove the aerator and flush the faucet before using as per instructions? If not remove and clean the aerator, flush the faucet using both hot & cold, them reinstall the aerator and try it.

This model shows 1.5 gallons usage and others show 2,2 and 2.5 gallons. Does that effect the flow and pressure?

Asked by: GBelle
Yes, it does impact flow a little. However, 1.5 gallons per foot is the recommended usage for todays faucets. It provides similar pressure for washing and rinsing as the others, but does not use as much water.
