My boyfriend is a master plumber and told me to get a Moen. Seems to be a quality faucet that will last and looks great. I love the higher arc and no longer hit my hands on the back of the sink when washing. The spout also swivels for ease of cleaning the sink.

We purchased four Banbury faucets to install in new sinks and are very pleased with the improvement over the faucets in the older sinks. The design of the Banbury has several advantages, some we didn't realize until we started using them.
The tall spout with its outlet above the level of the faucet mounting surface allows the user to get their hands entirely underneath, which makes washing very easy. Also, the tall, swivelling spout lets you get a bucket underneath.
The arms on the hot and cold controls let you control the water flow by pushing with a surface of your hand rather than having to grasp a control knob with your wet fingers. The controls operate very smoothly. They do not have H and C markings.
Installation of the faucet body is very simple. It comes with a plastic gasket that prevents water on the sink surface from flowing underneath the faucet body.
Installation of the drain is another matter. After installing four faucets, I can say with confidence that you should expect leaks unless you take preventive measures. Assuming you properly put plumbers putty under the waste seat as shown in the instructions, the other two leakage pathways are:
1. Between the drain gasket and the drain hole exit in the sink. Our new sinks are vitreous china and are not perfectly flat on the bottom around the drain hole, which I'm sure was a major factor. I used silicone sealant on the first gasket with good results, but became concerned about problems in removing the gasket if ever necessary. For subsequent installations, I used Sta Put Ultra (oil-free) plumbers putty with equally good results.
2. In the channel formed by the threads on the exterior surface of the waste seat tube where it passes through the inside diameter of the drain gasket. The drain gasket looks like it has has turn or two of threads, but they don't block the channel between the threads on the waste seat tube. I tried teflon tape, but found that the act of moving the gasket upwards on the waste seat tube made a mess of it. Instead, I settled on Rectorseal Tplus2 pipe thread sealent.
One caveat is that the installations are fairly new and I can't comment on long term performance.
Moen was very responsive when I called about the leakage problems and sent me a metal drain system to try, but it had the same problems. Once I overcame the problems, the plastic drain shipped with the Banbury seems to be fine.

The faucet is very good looking and the spout swivels with great ease and seems very stable and secure. Aside from the base that actually sits on the sink (which is made out of plastic and not metal like the rest of the faucet) it is very nice. The drain up and down thing is also plastic, but most things these days are made like this. The hoses that attach to the hot and cold water inlets are not included and must be purchased separately. Home Depot is very good about returns as the previous one we purchased (different brand faucet) was defective. It is like everything now a days, if it does not cost a million dollars, it is Chinese junk. Sorry but true.

The most valuable feature is the swivel spout. The handles operate smoothly and easily. The chrome shine is awesome.

Home depot installed this and it really looks great and is high quality . The old 25 year old plastic faucet was broken and dripping They also replaced the input lines with modern PVC as the old galvanized lines were rotted and leaking .Also replaced the drain line with PVC as the old steel drains were seeping. Home depot really did an outstanding job making the wash room functional again. We wanted this faucet because it allowed extra space to fill up laundry products and the faucet spout moves from side to side to allow clearance of bottles that we fill near the laundry room. I DON'T HAVE A PICTURE, BUT IMAGINE WATER GENTLY FLOWING FROM THE FAUCET INTO THE SINK.

i got it installed just to find out my old sink didnt have the clearance for the pull for the drain had to remove the faucet and buy a glass cutting drill bit so check the sink first because the hole in the faucet for the drain pull is in the very back also not noted is that the faucet swivels side to side not a big deal it kind of nice for a lot of reasons this is a heavy duty faucet. its kind of big but it is beautiful amazing how well it is built.

This is one of the best products I've ever purchased we have other Moen products. but the qualiyty and reliability and warranty is unsurpassed. I will never by any Kitchen/Bathroom or Shower products besides Moen they are absolutely the very best. I would by them even if some of the others were offered to me free.

I am very pleased with this faucet. I was hesitant about it since I ordered it online and wasn't sure if it was the look that I wanted. I'm happy to say its a beautiful addition to my vanity. The look and function is great.
