Will this faucet work on a double sink?

Asked by: hank
Yes and it swivels easily. The sprayer could have had a little longer hose though.

our water is not bad.. but being from a well it has some iron in it. we currently have a pur water filter attached to our faucet, i would like to attach it to the new faucet... can the end of the spout be removed?
Asked by: Anonymous
Yes! You made me go see if it unscrews, and it does. Part of the reason I bought it is because I like the look of the end piece!

Do you need plumbers putter or a sealant to install? Does it come with spray hose?

Asked by: Angela
Don't need them, though Teflon strip is helpful always in screwing the water hoses to the fixture. The picture model comes with spray hose assembly as show.

I had to do the job twice because the first faucet I bought was a Delta witch dripped right out of the box. Man I tell you the quality difference is HUGE. My mistake for buying one online without physically inspecting for quality. If at all possible go to the store and compare the quality. Don't just look at them. Tug, pull and turn all the knobs. pull on the spout. This will save you from a lot of disappointment in the end.

I purchased this at HD because it was within my price range, had a sprayer and I like having separate handles for hot and cold (I can't seem to control my water temperature as well with a single handle like I can with separate handles). The good is that the handles were smooth turning on/off, I could control the temperature well and the sprayer never locked up. The bad is that the arched faucet is corroding (where it will eventually develop a hole and leak) in several places and the sprayer, which I use daily, was a pain from day 1. Why?... the hose was very stiff, it was hard to pull out and then pull over to what I was spraying. It is so stiff, that eventually the hose split where it attaches to the handled spray nozzle. It does not leak because it's a dual layer, but I know it soon will split through the second layer. I also was very careful not to use any harsh chemicals on the faucet. The corrosion is coming from the inside out. I won't buy this one again. I will look for a different brand.

It is offered as an option to operate the hands free mode. Batteries were included, but I don't want to change the batteries. It was an easy install. Took about two hours but I spent quite a bit of time cleaning the build up around the old faucet then polishing the SS. But then I am a little CDO. (That is "Compulsive Obsessive disorder" but with the letters in the right order) I will also have to redo the installation at some point because I did it at 2am and didn't have the opportunity to make the plywood (unless I can get an aluminium) backer (not included). It is not very stable in a thin walled SS sink. I've had it about a week and my wife and I love it.

I have had this faucet for about a month now, the water pressure is good, functions great and it is so nice to have a faucet that allows me to swivel it from sink to sink with ease and also allows my large canning pot to be filled without having to angle it off under the spout. It definitely meets my expectations!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another excellent Moen faucet Each time I upgrade a room that requires a faucet I look to Moen. When it was time to redo the kitchen I found this model. It's exactly what my wife asked for, namely a two handle high arch faucet. It was easy to install, looks great, and is easy to keep clean.. Add the no drip for a lifetime warranty and it's the perfect choice.

This faucet would be a great addition to any kitchen, it is not just attractive, it is very functional. The height of the spout is the main reason for choosing this particular faucet, wether you are filling your sink compartments, rinsing the dishes, or filling a pot for cooking, it does all with ease. I purchased the faucet about two weeks ago, and installation was between 30 and 45 minutes from time of opening the box. The directions were very simple, easy to read and follow...no tools required. I would recommend this product for self installation, even if you have little knowledge of plumbing.

Over the past year, the high arc faucet developed pitting coming from the inside, but not to the point where the bubbling broke through the finish. (There is another review noting this exact problem.) We have city water. When I removed the faucet for exchange (a 45 minute exchange at the store due to a surly clerk) I discovered the valve that connects the hot and cold sides was also corroded to the point where it had a pinhole leak. Overall, I like the look and high arc of this faucet, it functioned (i.e., not drips, smooth operation etc.) and did get a new one after a lot of unnecessary arguing at the store, but there does seem to be a long-term durability issue with it.

The hard part is getting the old faucet off because plastic "nuts" holding it in place, like any kitchen faucet set, are hard to reach and crudded in. Once old faucet off this is a snap to install. Especially good is the easy snap-on for sprayer hose to the faucet. A problem with this and other faucets is the reduced flow from the tap.
