Yes, this faucet swivels. We have a dual sink, and the range of motion works well for moving the spout from one basin to the other.

Installation without base plate - will it still swivel?

Hi, I need to install this unit without the base plate as my granite kitchen top does not have enough space for it. Will the faucet still swivel if there is no base plate? I noticed that in response to another question of swivel, it was said the entire body swivels - if that is so, I guess it won't swivel if you don't install the base plate? (otherwise the faucet would get loose over time)

Yes, it does swivel without the big plate. It sits in a little collar that covers the single hole. Only the body that holds the spray hose turns, if you could look up at it from underneath while someone turns it, nothing moves down there.

This particular Faucet will still swivel without the base plate as the instructions show that it can be installed either way. The base plate is for looks and also to cover up separate Hot and Cold water holes in sinks that are multi-use.

Answer:
Deckplate is to cover the extra holes some sinks have. Really doesn't have anything to do with preventing leaks. When the cartridges leak they can drip, but mine dripped all over the countertop not under the sink. We seem to replace faucets every ten years or so.

Hi Ollie,
The best answer I can give you is to check the hose and make sure it is not blocked. There is no adjustment for the flow rate and I had no trouble with mine.
Good luck.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best quality for the price!! I had to replace my other faucet due to dripping. I looked at the other products displayed and really loved this one. I was so happy when my plumber told me it would work. I absolutely love this faucet and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!! September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Moen faucet, pleasant surprise This purchase was to replace a similar faucet that had some issues. I decided to replace rather than repair. I chose a similar model since I had enjoyed the original faucet. There were several changes in the new product - the material seemed lighter and I was concerned it would not be sturdy but it has been working very well. I believe it might be lighter so that the faucet will retract better after using the pull-out sprayer. The sprayer retracts much more easily than the previous model. It has been a pleasure to use this new faucet and I believe it will also be easier to keep clean based on the new design. Pleasantly surprised. July 19, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Poor Water Pressure, But decent for the price The flow seems very slow, I should have read this before purchasing, but fine for the price. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This is an Awesome product! I just bought this single-handle pull out sprayer and installed it... Installation is very straight forward and simple to do. I love having the sprayer/faucet combo... Design is very good and looks great. The price is very reasonable and the quality is good. I would recommend this to anyone. Great job Moen and Home Depot! August 17, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good...but... Purchased in May and one part is broken already in July! The "indexing tab" on the pull-out wand broke. Not a big deal, the wand 'spins' and we have to be more careful, but what is next? Also, the 'pitch' of the spot has been disappointing in that it is very low and the faucet does not extend out very far into our sink. Note that we purchased this to replace a 15 yr old MOEN Extensa (installed by our builder and we loved) that broke on a Saturday. Several other related problems drove us to replacement on Saturday. This was a "quick" choice and MOEN had been our preferred brand! Unfortunately the plumber noted that our Extensa, besides breaking, had leaked over the years also... July 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good experience This was a replacement kitchen faucet - the other I had bought at Home Depot 10 years ago when I had new kitchen counters installed (by Home Depot). This is exactly the same, and the reason I wanted the same one was ease of use. Just one handle, so I turn on the faucet easily when I don't seem to have enough hands when preparing a meal. Super product. It has a sprayer that can be pulled straight out from the faucet itself so that I can rinse off the sink. August 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pretty ... ... but i'm getting used to the size of the head in comparison to my last teeny tiny faucet head. I like that it offers two water flows, but the head, which is plastic, makes me fear it may eventually crack. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice and easy installation Really nice look and easy installation and fit on anyone's budget July 19, 2016
