After only two years the assembly became stiff and wobbly. I was afraid to rotate the spout thinking something would break. Sure enough, I had company and forgot to tell them not to rotate the spout. Well after cleaning up the water all over my kitchen floor , I noticed the nut that attached the hose to the cold water had come lose. (Probably over time from forcing the spout back and forth). Besides that, the whole tower assembly detached from the base. My dependable plumber said it could not be fixed. I had originally paid $200.00 to have it installed. Moen is sending me a replacement, but I now have to pay another installation cost.

Oval base is junk. Not quality metal. Purchased this faucet in November 2011. By May of 2012 (only 6 months), two tiny set screws (that mount the GUTS OF THE FAUCET to the oval, metal base) had come loose underneath. But wait, there's more! When loose it causes the faucet neck to wobble. And the wobble gets worse. You are forced to completely remove from sink and disassemble. Guess what? It's now July 2012 (2 months since repair). Horrible wobble has returned. My plan was to disassemble again and use automotive loctite-thread lock on the two screws. Only one problem. I took a closer look at the metal that the two set screws mount through. It's not quality metal. It's like a pot metal. It's disintegrating. So no matter how well the screws hold, the metal is falling apart and the wobble will return. I'm sorry but, this quality is shameful. WARNING: When buying a faucet of this style, check the oval metal base on the underside to make sure it's real, quality metal. Might be best to stay with a nickel or stainless steel.

This item looks to be top notch. I will have to use it for a while to see if it is or not.

My old Moen single-lever kitchen faucet started to drip after 10 years so I tried to replace the O" rings but created a bigger drip & thats when I decided to update to a simpler Duralast Cartridge model w/fewer "O" rings, since I lost my original receipt for the lifetime limited warranty. The new Banbury Model CA87528 was easy to install & I kept the box & receipt this time just in case. Great product made in USA!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jayson25 The spout became very hard to rotate
This faucet worked well for a little over a year. After that, the spout became increasingly difficult to rotate. It was a problem I lived with for another year until the base started to become loose. At the time I finally said enough is enough, you really had to put some force behind the spout to move it, also the mount was getting looser as well. A plumber friend replaced the rubber O ring (although he said it didn't look worn) and applied some grease to it. That helped some but after a week it back to where it was. At that point it was good bye to this particular faucet. I will say however, that despite the problems I had the faucet and sprayer worked flawlessly and never leaked. I just felt it was only a matter of time before I had a major problem on my hands.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bob Great kitchen faucet at a reasonable price.
This faucet replaced a fifteen year old Moen Monticello.
My wife loves the style. The chrome finish is flawless. The faucet action is smooth as silk. The hardest part of the replacement was removing the old one. It is one day old so the rating for durability is speculative. I am very happy with this Moen faucet so far.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by HDShopper Much Easier to Install than Delta and Has Supply Lines
Delta equivalent in cost, but doesn't come with supply line. Their Sprayer required a 1 inch hole(vs an old delta which was installed which had a 3/4 inch hole and flange.) This one installed in 5 minutes, easy, tight and looks great according to my elderly neighbor who I replaced it for.
Cost was reasonable and not having to run out and pick up the proper supply lines etc made it even cheaper than the delta faucet equivalent
