This faucet was a purchase to replace a broken 12 year old brand by another manufacturer. I didn't opt to replace my sink as it's fairly deep, modern and still in good shape. I did some homework online to get spec's on a good replacement and then went to this store so I could compare my top three picks in person and make the purchase for the next day's installation at home. I had my heart set on a cool looking European brand, then another popular brand, followed by the Moen Benton.
A Home Depot employee, familiar with plumbing, was called over to assist me. Bob asked if I had a specific model in mind and I pointed out my top three selections. He asked me what I liked about each different model and I bullet pointed the features I liked in each one. When I finished, he didn't look too thrilled with my first choice. Of course that was the cool looking one that I wanted the most, too. Bob, as a plumber who had done billions of faucet installations in a prior lifetime, was able to quickly ascertain the differences between all the faucets I had chosen and features I was interested in for the DIY retro-fit, water pressure, ease of use and care and style in a median price range. Clearly the reason I liked the first choice was totally based on the perceived cool factor in my brain. Because, as he explained, that unlike the European faucet - the Moen, which has the easiest installation of any other brand, plus has a proven, quality track record in durability, water pressure, ease of use, sustained finishes plus attractive modern styling. Moen is the average American plumbers first choice. Made in the USA, getting parts is not only, NOT a problem but the parts are under a lifetime warranty. Free replacement parts. I smiled and raised an eyebrow.
As a single woman, I knew I might be installing this unit all on my own. I had experience with a smart looking European faucet in my master bath, that I will suffice to say, didn't want to have to deal with the tremendous trouble it took to find the (same!) very expensive, foreign valve part every few years, with the disassembly and reassembly as a huge thorn in my paw. Fifteen years of that - never again.
I took Bob’s recommendation, I opted for the Moen Benton. Of which was much easier to install than it was to remove the old faucet - even with the help of the neighbor guy. We got it all done within an hour or so. (I might recommend getting that special tool that you would never use except in case you need to remove the kitchen faucet, it could save a lot of sweat.) The Benton has smart, smooth styling with no edges or lips to catch grime. The Spot Resistant Finish stays clean most of the time or wipes clean quickly without looking smeared - ever. The pull down nozzle has a little flare at the edge that prevents it from slipping out of wet hands and is long enough to reach down to the bottom of sink. Plus it has never failed to retract on its own.
One of best things about this faucet is the water flow control lever. So smooth to turn it on/off and up to hot or down to cool - even with a pinky. Important, when hands are full of food for cooking. Plus if there are only a couple of inches of back bar space, this unit turns on/off with a short vertical movement and hot/cold in an arcing smiley face movement across the front side. So the lever is never impeded by the back wall! In other words - it fits a tight space nicely.
The nice high arc to the faucet neck makes it so easy to fit the glass coffee carafe or tall, soup pot under the nozzle for cleaning with the water pressure as good as it gets in this house - which is not bad. Plus, it was my good fortune to catch it on SALE. All in all, a year later I am still happy with Bob's good recommendation, which became my choice. I can highly recommend this faucet! When the time comes to replace this faucet, if we're still alive, I will look to Bob again, and Moen, first.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dakster This is the one you'll prefer.
I had originally purchased the American Standard Fairbury model, because that's the exact same faucet I was replacing. Why? Probably because it was cheaper. The old adage of "You get what you pay for", held true however. I wasn't happy with either it's installation or end result. Returned it and purchased this model based on it's many positive reviews.
Long story short - it's a better faucet. Better quality, easier installation, and both resulted in a much happier customer. The shelf was empty when I decided this was the one I wanted, but fortunately, they still had a few in the racks that the gentleman working in plumbing was able to get down for me. If you're on the fence about spending more money on this faucet - check the reviews, almost every single one is someone who is happy about this purchase, and you can add me to that list.

I LOVE this faucet.
This is my 3rd sink/faucet replacement in 3 years (2 rental houses and finally a home of my own). The faucets I bought for the rental houses were ok, but this faucet is amazing!
It retracts clean and straight every time, I was worried about a pull down because a friend has one (different brand) and it's always hanging out. Not this one, it goes back smooth.
The spot resist truly lives up to it's name. I installed this almost 2 weeks ago and I have 3 young boys under 13 and the faucet always looks like I just cleaned it. This was not the case with the 2 previous stainless steel faucets I had bought for the rental homes. They looked dingy and gross. I am so thrilled with this Moen one!
You will not be disappointed with this faucet.
I've had no issue with using the sprayer on stream or spray, the spray is very powerful.

I initially purchased a cheap (in my happy budget)- Glacier Bay faucet just by the looks of it at Home Depot. I came home and googled and read the reviews and they were less than thrilling. Basically, you get what you pay for. I went back the same day& got a refund and started reading pages of reviews on Home Depot, Lowes and by Googling "Reliable kitchen faucets".
I read many, many, many reviews regarding faucets of multiple brands & manufacturers & decided to "spend the money" and NOT go the cheaper route. We are not handy people ourselves so I wanted to buy one that I could keep long term and not have any issues with for repairs. Lord knows...the leaks, disconnects, dripping others talked about etc was enough to scare me into more research.
This one had awesome reviews and the quantity of reviews was high so a lot of people had the same experience. I'll go with majority & pray for no plumbing issues.
It's a beautiful product, looks modern & classy with my new granite counters and undermount sink- spray hose that comes out. The guy that hooked it up underneath for me seemed to do it in about 20 minutes- said he had the same brand- no issues. The things that I don't like are that it does tend to make a big splash all over the nice clean sink when running the water (due to the height) of the faucet, mine drips a bit when done so I wipe the nozzle with a towel to get the excess water and my water comes out really cloudy? My original faucet was Delta- builders grade- came with the house and nothing fancy--- but my water wasn't as cloudy so not sure of the difference? There must be some type of filter that I can have put in & my water pressure seems low on full speed?
For the money- the cosmetic look and the functionality and ease of it....well worth the money. Just a couple of things that are annoying but not enough for me to change it.

We have remodeled our kitchen and the faucet was our first and only choice. It is simple to install, fun to use, and beautifully engineered. No leaking at all. It is also perfect for left-handed people in a right-handed world !!

Moen faucets are exceptionally easy to install. They provide a tool for tightening the hard to reach nut for easily reaching the one bolt required for installing the unit. The nozzle retracts smoothly. highly recommend.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wj311 Reviews helped me decide on this faucet!
I bought this faucet based on the reviews and am very happy with the purchase. I've told people that I work with, how much I love putting the coffee pot right under the faucet without having to "dip" it and they reply: I know what you mean and I hate having to do that. The height is perfect! The sprayer is wonderful and retracts like a breeze. Pretty easy to install and looks great!

Purchased this faucet a year ago to replace a leaking faucet from another manufacturer. The installation was quick, easy and straight forward. Took me longer to take out the old faucet than to install the Moen Benton. Great features and looking finish aand design. Water pressure for me is great and no spalshing. Love the pull-down retractable feature with the sprayer and pause options. The only downside but may be specific to my sink/island application is the faucet does not extend out enough but not a big deal.
I highly recommend this product for its looks, sleek design and functionality. Hope this helps.
