We have been using this faucet for about 2 weeks and love the look of it. It is easy to use with a short duration sensor and a longer period of flow sensor. It also has a timer shut off on the longer sensor to protect from overflows. The pull down sprayer glides in and out with ease and the ability to change from flow to spray is very nice. I would recommend this product. It is pricey but you get what you pay for and this faucet is quality. I do not know about the ease of installation because I had it installed.

We love our faucet. It's wonderful not having to use a handle to turn it on. It was easy to install.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Caroline So glad I purchased this motion sensored faucet
I wanted to buy a Moen because my original very high-end faucet had not kept it's finish and was leaking in just seven years. My neighbor's Moen still looked great!
The motion sensor was important for me because my daughter is highly allergic to seafood and I wanted to make sure there was no cross-contamination when cooking as she usually shares the same sides during our seafood meal times. I couldn't be happier with it.
INSTALlATION: After opening the box, it did look intimidating, but the instructions were easy to follow. I did have a bit of help from my friend which was welcome when I needed to tightened the faucet to ensure it was facing the right was above the counter.
FUNCTIONALITY: I read some other reviews and glad I proceeded for myself. On water pressure. I have as good and maybe even better pressure than I had before. The length of the pull out, I thought was a little bit short, but I simply pushed the weight further and have no problems reaching all areas of my sink.
TEMPERATURE: I too want hot water, or close to it, since I keep my water very hot, coming from my sensor use. I adjusted to less than the hottest levels and have no problem getting hot water from my sensor uses. I will note, however, that I had my house plumbed whereby my hot water circulates to give me instantaneous hot water at all my taps throughout the house. So I can see where the water would have to run a bit before the hot comes through, though I don't know why this would be longer than with a normal faucet.
USE: I am grateful for this faucet every time I use it. It's so convenient and practical. I also like that when my kids wash their hands in the kitchen, the faucet turns off while they "scrub".
BOTTOM LINE: There's nothing disappointing about this faucet. And with the 30% off sale from Home depot when I bought it, made it affordable.

Love, love, love this faucet! Did a mini-redo of kitchen and upgraded to this great faucet. Had contractor install, and he had no problems, but I think it could possibly be tricky for a DIY project. The faucet works effortlessly and is so convenient to use. The spot-resist finish really looks good, too. It uses 6 AA batteries to power the motion sense technology, and my contractor said they last quite a long time. Of course, there is also a handle to use if you don't activate the hands-free option. I'm very happy with this product and would highly recommend it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by joshny just installed - so far so good - 1 complaint
wish they had made a way to adjust the timer of the sensor. While washing a dish, your hand naturally moves around, and the faucet keeps turning off. It should have had at least a 2 second delay, or increased the range of detection under the faucet head.
BTW, if you have a cleaning lady, or someone unfamiliar with the faucet, they might accidentally put it into: CLEANING/GUEST MODE (see instructions). Drove us crazy, changing the batteries, and verifying all the connections.
Just hope it lasts. Reviews are much better than the Delta AKA Brizo Touch2O version

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MarkW Awesome faucet!
This faucet replaced a double handled one that my wife hated since we moved in. I've always been a Delta kind of guy, but Moen and their MotionSense faucets have been getting great reviews lately, so I took a chance. Well, let me just say that the worst part of this job was getting the old faucet out. But once that happened, the install on this was very clear and easy if you follow the directions.
Installation took about 45 min, was pretty simple, and no leaks. With the simple to understand sensors, we rarely use the handle. I did go ahead and bought the AC power adapter for about $24 on Amazon because I didn't want to deal with batteries.
If you have the ability to install this in a single hole sink, I would recommend that. Our sink is a 4 hole, 60/40 deal. So, the faucet is installed with the escutcheon to cover 2 of the holes were the old faucet had handles. Well, this faucet doesn't turn as far left as you might think, so the water stream is barely in the left side of the sink. But isn't that why there is the pull out I tell my wife? Just something to be aware of.
For the 4th hole, I bought a Moen soap dispenser off of Amazon (not sold by HD).
2 weeks in and we love it. The kids wash their hands, don't leave a mess, and I know we are saving water too. I'd def buy another.....

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DYIer Good For Some
In terms of fit and finish this is a nice faucet. It comes with everything you need, even the batteries. The hoses are quick coupled and the directions are easy to understand for a DYIer. From my perspective it ends there. I rarely use cold water and that is what you get when you use the motion sense for at least the first 20 seconds, Hand washing should be accomplished with the hottest water possible to reduce bacteria (most commercial kitchens use 100 degree water). Even though I have adjusted the mix for the motion sense (you have no immedeate contol with motion sense for temperature control) it does not ever heat up enough. If you want hot water you must use the manual valve and it takes twice as long as my old Price Pfister. The water volume is lower still with the manual valve. And if one of the benefits of motion sense is the "no touch" feature to reduce cross contamination of food..., why do I need to use the manual valve for hot water for hand washing? The pressure is extremely weak and the hose is too short also. I purchased this for my home kitchen reno to go with a 30" farmers sink and the pressure and the hose are not up to the task. In my opinion it is a loser all around. I am an executive chef by profession and I would consider this item way overpriced and cheaply built. I still do not believe the technology is there yet for a motion sense type faucet to be functional. My wife like the appearance and the the motion sense.
