Can this faucet be mounted without the deck plate?

Yes, that is exactly how mine in mounted. It was a new granite counter for a dual sink vanity and was drilled with only one faucet hole for each sink..

What is the difference between the Moen #66600 MID arc and the #6600 LOW arc Brantford bathroom faucet? Question previously asked but answer unclear

The previous answer was: "store packaging". What is "store packaging", how does it affect the product, and why is there a price difference - mid arc = $87.20, low arc = $116.42? Specs on the LOW arc say it's depth is 20.88", the MID arc is 5". How can this difference be? Height = LOW 3", MID 9" Again, the difference? Width = LOW 9.44", MID 6". Are all of these numbers correct? LOW arc says it has Ceramic Disk Valves, MID arc says No additional Features. Included components: LOW = handles, MID= Drain, Handles, Separate deck plate. The LOW arc doesn't come with the same components? Do either come all inclusive with EVERYTHING needed for installation as shown on the Moen site, including hoses? On this site it was asked if the drain was metal. The answer was no it is not metal. What is the drain made of if not metal? After reading your specifications, I'm very confused. Are the LOW arc and MID arc the same exact product or is one made with less quality and if so, which one is the better quality? I would like to order two of these faucets but I really can't tell which to order and get the product I saw on the Moen site. Please help.

Spoke with Darrel L on HD Live Chat. He was able to identify that the faucets are identical except for the drain assemblies. #6600 is all metal (more durable) and the #66600 is 50/50 metal and plastic. Both have ceramic valves. I forgot to ask abut dimensions. Spoke with Shamika S and she was able to find the spec sheet which actually has both models. Turns out that this is the same page given in each model's Specifications link. Shamika is sending the problem with the posted specs to the HelpDesk in hopes that they will update the info given for each model. http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/c7/c7056475-8668-476b-b71b-cb8c135ab0ef.pdf

How can I get my veterans discount on online purchases

Asked by: VAguest
For online purchases, we've had to go into the store with the order info and they will reimburse the discount in the form of a gift card (which also has to be ordered.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Steel magnolia This strong and elegant faucet is like a steel magnolia. The old faucet was rusted around the inside next to the aerator. My daughter hasn't felt 100% since we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago. Never thought about a old faucet causing problems - maybe it did and maybe it didn't. It took a while to finally remove the old one. I installed the beautiful Moen in five minutes. Although the sink has one hole, I added the wide base shown in the picture for style. No plumber's putty required with the wide base - yeah! It's beautiful and sturdy. The water tastes great. The handle is easy to move. Great buy and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good My contractor installed, and didn't seem to have any issues. Faucet looks as pictured, works well so far. One thing to consider, the plate around the bottom of the faucet that is shown in the picture doesn't have to be installed if you have a single hole sink. It is only for those cases where the sink has more than one opening. My sink was new and only had the one opening, so I asked my contractor if the plate could be removed and he installed it without it. Looks so much cleaner, and leaves more room on my sink which is small.

This faucet has a rather long stud and nut combination plus includes a wrench allowing you to tighten the fixture to the sink with no addition tools. It took less than 10 minutes to replace my bathroom fixture. This produce has a nice finish that is consistent through the fixture and associated pieces. The mechanism works easily and well.
