Purchased three and after a short while, the towel ring mounting bases are hanging out of the wall. I can see the silver mounting bolt going into the wall, but can neither remove the towel ring nor get it to stay flush against the wall. Please advise.

One of them has become loose, and we can't figure out how to tighten it. It doesn't use an L wrench, like the other Moen towel bars that we have.

Brantford Towel Ring in Brushed Nickel is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Out with the brass, in with the brushed nickel. Faucets were great, towel ring OK, but the towel ... Out with the brass, in with the brushed nickel. Faucets were great, towel ring OK, but the towel bar just didn't measure up to the sturdy old brass bar it replaced. The bar is a smaller diameter and rotates in the holders. It's made of a thin extrusion and doesn't have the heft and panache of the old bar. It goes with the decor, but luckily it's continuously hidden with a towel or 2.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's a towel bar Towel bar was not easy to install but did look good once installed. The manufacturer should really include an installation template regarding spacing and mounting of wall brackets. Also not crazy about the plastic wall brackets and that the posts need to be snapped into place. Don't have a lot of confidence that this will make it long term but well see.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap product It is a shame how manufacturers are making there products from plastic to save them money and still charge consumers the same price. I recently did a update on my master bathroom it had the chrome and gold moen montcello collection everything was made of metal and has lasted for 15 years now the moen brantford and branbury are mostly plastic hope itlast long enough to sell the house

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the pivot action for installing paper roll I installed this myself. Can't say this was that easy to install, for me it's never easy to ensure you get the holes drilled so that the fixture is level and lines up as needed. My contractor said he doesn't like to install bath fixtures so I think that's universal. That said, the template provided really helped to ensure the correct space was drilled between the two ends of the paper holder. Love the pivot action to replace paper, very quick and easy to do.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beautiful, but be aware I love how this product looks, and the way it secures is awesome. However, if you have never done it before, read the directions very carefully befor even touching the thing. I read the directions, went to do what it asked, had to stop to re-read, and found out it was already ruined. Once the mechanism to attach is ruined... That's it! So, this may have been user error, but it was very very easy to have user error.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from extremely difficult to remove or correct I bought a bunch of the Pro Fit products by Moen. They were mounted as per the instructions. However, they come loose after a year of use. No biggy, with the old style. But with Pro fit, you have to fight to get the hanger off the mount. Pushing in on the little tab requires a screwdriver, that is the easy part, but getting the rest to break free is a pain and the whole mount seems to come loose while you fight to remove the hanger. There are two spikes on each side that don't hold well after the wiggling to remove the hanger. tightening is hard in that you don't know how tight to make the main screw. I would suggest you use the older style mount and skip the easy Pro-fit that is great for a contractor who is gone 5 minutes later, but not for the homeowner who has to live with these.
