I bought this to match all the bronze fixtures we were putting in our bathroom while remodeling it. The unfortunate thing about these kinds of drain stops is you can't really test them until the whole tub is installed. Long story short, this stopper won't completely stop water. I believe that it wasn't machined with exactness, and therefore cannot do a proper job. Unfortunately for me, I cannot get to it to replace it now that my tub is installed.
This experience will keep me from buying another stop designed the same as this one, as well as not recommending it to anyone - it's expensive and it doesn't work.

The quality of this product is good. I bought it to go with a Kohler tub/shower faucet and there is a definate differance in the quality from Kohler to Moen. I really like the finish on Kolher compaired to Moen. The finish on this is alittle lighter bronze, however not so much that I wouldn't use it. The brass on this Moen waste and overflow is of good quaity, much more so than a plastic one. I do wish Kohler made a waste and overflow to go with there other products. I would buy another Moen and would recommend this.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mickey Quality drain!
We built a new home and installed these drains in 4 bathrooms with tubs. They are solid, quality brass drains. Not difficult to install. Trip lever easily opens and closes drain. Hopefully they will function well for many years.

I was happy to see that this drain assembly was very high quality.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JuncoBill very nice, but would have been happy to get one in plastic for a lot less money
Kind of overkill for an installation with a fiberglass tub and plastic drain lines.

The drain fit like a glove and looks great. I went with this brass model because it was going into a basement slab floor and i will not have access to without major work. The brass should last a lot longer than plastic and won't have issues being in contact with the cement

This makes the rest of my bronze fixtures really stand out. Had a new tub installed so why not go the extra mile for perfection.
