Rated 5 out of 5 by Camerist Faucet, White The dual spray pressures on this faucet are an added bonus. One other thing I particularly like is that the faucet reaches further into the sink than most faucets which should reduce the splash factor. December 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Looks wonderful; I'm very pleased. This was installed yesterday in new countertop & new sink with soap dispenser to match too. This model faucet was the highest arched available. We do home canning & needed the faucet high. I ordered a full month before we needed it; it was on backorder. February 5, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by two times finish trouble I purchased this faucet in oil rubbed bronze. Operates great, and I like the function. But the bottom of the faucet that sits on counter turned white and water got up into the finish and the coating chipped off. Got the first one replaced but I had to pay plumber to install again. Now the replacement is doing exact same thing. I do not use abrasive cleaners I only wipe dry with paper towels. Now I paid again to take the faucet off and will see if they replace this one, and pay again to re install. Ugh....... June 25, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Faucet but Supply Lines Too Small The Camerist wide shower-like head is a more modern pleasant style than a traditional shaped pull out spout. Its dual shower/spray functions (wide/soft shower or narrower harder spray) are handy and work well. Shutting the faucet off cancels both shower options and there is also a separate button to do that. A negative is that the rocker like button to select one of the two showers is on the underneath side of the pull out head so it's difficult to grab the head without triggering a spray. The built in supply lines presented a problem. Our old Moen Extensa had metal lines with fittings coming out of the bottom of the faucet. It was relatively easy to connect them to the plumbing with flexible lines. Instead the Camerist has built-in flexible lines that are not detachable. While that might be desirable if it eliminated one connection point, the fittings on the lines were too small to connect to our plumbing. We had to use separate supply line adapters to connect the faucet. If Moen wants to use built-in supply lines with smaller fittings, they need to include adapters for connecting them to larger plumbing lines. February 6, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Dissatisfied w/durability I shopped widely & chose carefully when I selected Camerist for my kitchen remodel. After a mere 3 years of use, it constantly dripped. My son, a plumber, replaced the cartridge, as we were told that was the culprit, however, that didin't fix the problem--it continue to drip & could not be stopped w/factory supplied parts. After complaining to Moen, I was told the Camerist was no longer available, but would be replaced w/a model called Banbury. It does not have the features of the Camerist & the style is not as conducive to my sink set-up. I am not terribly impressed that the same product would be the replacement to my defective product.
