Rated 3 out of 5 by from if only it had held up past 8 years We bought the copper finish model and it was a big hit with everyone who saw it, and we enjoyed using it...then after 4 years we started to experience minor problems (small pieces of the handle hardware needed to be replaced every 16 months or so). That was not a big deal because they were provided to us at no charge and were not tough to install. Then this year the major headache hit us...the faucet body became very difficult to rotate from one sink to the next, and after 6 weeks of that the entire assembly began to wobble. We disassembled the faucet and discovered that the entire cartridge body had disintigrated to very small pieces of rusted metal! This failure essentially made the entire faucet worthless as the copper model has been discontinued. Moen has provided us with a free replacement faucet (different model) and that is a comfort..but we fear that at some point in 6 to 8 years we will start to experience similar problems. The equation may be that you have to factor in labor cost/hassle to replace the whole faucet every 6-10 years but that will be buffered by Moen's warranty which offers a new unit. Fingers crossed!
