Rated 4 out of 5Â by Drock01 New Purchase DARCY Single Handle
I converted the tub/shower faucets from three handle to single, nice change. No volume control so may take a little getting use to, if that is one of your concerns. I truly like the look and feel of the unit. I can only give it "4" stars, because the normal shower setting is not strong enough. There are five settings, but none of them are what I'm looking for.
The water flow is only 2.0 per and I don't have the best of water pressure in my home, but this is not the Moen's fault. I still would buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by DIYer Moen Darcy Tub & Shower Faucet
Purchased this faucet to replace an existing one that failed. It was packaged nicely and all the parts needed were included in the box. Each piece was wrapped also to protect the finish which was good. The faucet installed easily after I removed the old one from the wall. This shower head also has 5 different settings that can be used. Pressure was good also! I am pleased with my purchase.

This shower head and faucet seemed to fit our needs for our children's bathroom remodel. Moen has a good reputation and the product is the style we were looking for. We installed new tile ourselves specifically to fit with this shower head, then had the shower head professionally installed. Our plumber had prepared the plumbing prior to us doing the tile so that all he had to do was come back to install the fixtures once the tiling was complete. When he came back to do the install he had difficulty saying that the faucet did not sit level and it did not install flush against the wall, so he had to modify the pipes to make it so it would fit properly. He made it work and didn't charge us anything extra, and because he is a good plumber he was able to get the job done. I'm not so sure if a do-it-yourselfer wouldn't have more difficulty. Once the installation was complete and we used the shower, we realized that there is NO volume control on the shower head, no way to control how fast or slow the water comes out. Who makes a $170 shower head that does not allow the user to control the flow of the water? It does say this on the box under the information for what type of valve the shower head has, but it says 'Full-flow cycling' then in parentheses next to it (no volume control)...all in very small print. While the shower head is very nice and the fixtures are attractive had I known about the lack of volume control I would not have purchased it.
