I've always had good performance from any Moen plumbing items I've purchased in the past and the bath shower and faucet assembly is no exception. The brushed nickle finish truly is water-stain resistant which helps to keep my bathroom in pristine condition.

The set worked as intended to. As for longevity...time will tell because most of everything is made in China!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by emubird installation instructions are wrong.
beware of valve installation depth. an extensive bathroom remodel around a leaky valve led to installation of this moen product. unfortunately when installed per the instructions the knob will stick out of the wall about 1" too far. do a google search: FAR too many people have had similar results for far too long. what gives moen???? this looks terrible in an otherwise beautiful remodel. and now this eyesore is in place behind new wall and new tile with no easy way to remedy. completely unacceptable. we'll be unlikely to purchase or recommend moen products in the future.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bloodguy05 Good Product (Except Shower Head)
The faucet and Valve piece are absolutely gorgeous.
Installation was a bit confusing, very in depth valve assembly, but works.
My only problem is the lack of water pressure from the head.

I am not the biggest fan of plumbing work, that being said, the valve and trim was a slam dunk installation.
The two screws that hold the trim plate have to go in blind to find the appropriate valve holes, and Moen
was thoughtful enough to taper the screw tips an eighth of an inch so that they found the holes and THEN began to thread in...sweet! In fact all the trim assembly went together beautifully.
The brushed nickel finish was substantial and didn't scratch during installation, which has happened to me on lesser quality plumbing fixtures.
Then there was the pleasure of turning the handle and having the shower pattern and flow work as I had hoped it would. I am very pleased with this product.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Edo987 Hard to clean. Sturdy feel
Solid, sturdy feel. I am really frustrated with the finish. It absorbs EVERY spot and does not shine up- even when dried immediately. Always looks dirty and spotty. The installation was a pain and the components limit how hot you can get the water (ideal for a kids bathroom, but not for an adult shower).
The knob hot and cold indicators are so faded that you cannot see them through the spots after ONE USE. We even have a water softener. There is no excuse for this poor finish. I am not happy with this at all.
Also the handle sticks out too far from the escutcheon. BEWARE that you have your plumber measure right and recess it in the wall far enough or it will look ugly and there's nothing you can do about it, expect rip the tile and wall apart.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by arjun90 Excellent Customer Service
The Cartridge which came with my Shower Tub Combo was Defective Out of the Box. With everything already installed, it would have been a daunting task to replace every component. I contacted Moen's Customer Service and was offered a free replacement of the Cartridge along with Expedited Shipping. I wasn't sure this would rectify the problem especially after reading many negative reviews on leaky Moen Products.
However, to my surprise, two days later, the cartridge had arrived, and the replacement works perfectly, no leak whatsoever. I would like to thank Moen's Prompt and Excellent Customer Service in addressing my concerns of this product.
If you have leaky Cartridge, contact Moen for an immediate replacement. Chances are, you will be pleased; I know I am.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brent Replaced both faucets in our new house
The one we installed in the master bath was in a tub/shower that had been replaced recently with a similar faucet so it went in pretty smooth. It looks great, and the finish seems easy to clean.
The stand up shower in the other bathroom was not so smooth. Old copper pipe soldered in was a pain, but sharkbite fittings made it way easier than I thought it would be. All the parts I needed for both installs were included. I did have to modify the plastic mounting bracket to adjust the depth, but they both looked great in the end.
For those with really low water pressure. There are laws that require manufacturers to make everything low flow. Take off the shower head and remove the low flow washer from inside the fitting. If that's not enough break the end off of the low flow fitting inside. We have ok pressure, but it is great since doing this.
