Product Overview

The MOEN Eva 2-Handle Deck-Mount Roman Tub Faucet with Handshower in Brushed Nickel features a 4-function handshower that lets you customize your bathing experience. The handshower's 1.5 GPM flow rate helps conserve water use without sacrificing performance. The deck-mount design of the faucet gives you easy access to the tub controls while the high-arc spout with its 9 in. reach provides plenty of clearance. The separate handles for hot and cold water allow you to adjust the water flow temperature and more precisely. Templates and installation hardware are included. This product requires MOEN valve(s) 9792, 9793, 9796, or 9797 for faucet to function.

Hi,

I'm looking to purchase this product today - do you know if it is approved by Massachusetts. Also, I saw the other questions on the valve - what model number do I need and where can I buy it?

Many thanks,
Kat.

We are replacing a faucet. The older spout had a 1/4" pin which fit into a hole drilled into the tub to prevent spout rotation around the fitting. The outside edge of that hole is 1-3/4" from the center of the spout hole. Thus we are looking for a rosette or other trim piece 3-1/2" or larger in overall diameter, to fit under the Eva spout and cover the extraneous hole. Sort of analogous to the trim piece used when you replace a 3- or 4-hole kitchen tap with a one-holer. What part number do we need for brushed nickel.

I have a whirl with MOEN 3 piece fixture mounted on the tile deck. The 2 handles are spline handles and would like to change it to Eva lever handle. I do not have access to the valve without tearing the tiles. If this does not work do you have any suggestion? I bought Danze faucet fixture from your online store and did not realize that I will not be able to change the tub to match it. Moen Eva style handle is the closest I can see that will match. Pllease advise. Thank you.

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Does not come with valve assembly, part is discontinued---ugghh The quality appears to be good, however, it came without valve assembly and when we searched for the parts 9992 & 9993 as mentioned in another review, they are discontinued. Home Depot should only sell items that ALL of the parts are available for. We will be returning this item and starting over. We like Moen, but the value is not there if we cannot use the item. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Don't forget you need a valve! Really nice looking product and arrived quickly. However, once we went to install, it was quickly evident that it was missing a valve assembly which had to be purchased separately (over $200) and was not quickly available in-store anywhere (and we live in a capital city with two Home Depots). Since we were using plumbers, this resulted in a second trip charge for the plumbers in addition to the extra $200+ we had to spend on the valves. December 17, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful and powerful We have had this faucet for almost 4 yrs now and it is used everday. I love it. I only need to sit and bend to wash my hair and its perfect for rinsing the tub. Husband installed it and he was surprised at how easy it was. Now he did make sure an assoiate got him everything he needed. We loved it so much we replaced the boy's bath with this same set. Its so worth the money. Its truly like having a shower in your tub. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by didn't know I needed more My plumber just went to see if he can get the valves that make this work. I didn't realize when I ordered it that it was just a trim kit and I have to spend another $172 for the guts to make it work!! I'll write more after it is installed and working to see if it deserves a better rating. Right now, I didn't realize that it would cost me so much for a nice looking tub faucet with a showerhead. It had better work for a lifetime!!! May 19, 2011
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by What they don't tell you This product does not come with a valve. The valves were nowhere to be found when we ordered this in December 2012. The finish on all of these Eva products leave fingerprints. We went with Moen products. December 25, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Installation Hardware This Faucet needs an adittional hardware kit for install that includes the shower head hose and faucet decking. The model number is 9992 for slip and 9993 for threaded. It currently retails for +/- $173.00. October 31, 2011
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by good looking faucet Good looking faucet. Have not installed it yet since there is scratches on the spout when it arrived. I have to return it and re-order. November 20, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by MOEN = (More Over Engineered Nonsense) For some reason, it seems that higher quality faucets not only end up being way more expensive, but they are complicated to install. My tub faucet with shower attachment was installed on a Jacuzzi tub. The faucet was installed and tested by a licensed plumber using the directions and dimensions in the instructions. After the tub has been tiled in and grouted for a permanent installation, the hot water side failed. I turned the faucet on full and only a trickle of water came out. I opened the service access to my tub and carefully shined a light over to the area of the faucets. The supply hose to the hot side had collapsed and kinked, cutting off the water supply. The plumber only made a loop with this hose as shown in the instructions. I can only assume that when the hose got warm with water, it collapsed and kinked. Why this hose was not a stainless braided hose instead of the cheap nylon reinforced plastic is beyond me. When I pay this much for a faucet, I expect something better. Now, my bathroom has to be torn apart. I am NOT a happy camper. BTW: I don't blame HD. Your order process and delivery were superb. This is a MOEN problem. May 1, 2011
