While the towel bar was exactly what we ordered and quite well made, the instructions bear little resemblance to my reality. Note that when it comes to hanging anything on a wall I am evidently seriously challenged.
The installation concept is great and the identical towel bar next to this one attests to the fact that if you know what you are doing it can be firmly installed. My first hole drilled was fine, nothing but sheetrock. The installation mechanism worked like a big molly bolt (because it IS a big molly bolt). Tight and secure against the wall. The second hole I drilled hit a stud which the instructions covered in detail. Just snap the rotation blocks off the installation screw and put it in the hole. Except it wouldn't fit in the hole. Taking the molly expansion piece off the screw left the hole too large for the screw which is NOT a wood screw and would not thread into the 2x4 (and believe it or not, you can not re-drill a hole smaller). I eventually found a larger wood screw that would suffice, probably from one of my other hanging experiences, and attached the unit to the wall. This installation method is nice in that it isn't really visible after you've finished.
Bottom line is the towel bar looks and works great, perfectly matches the one attached next to it, and is attached firmly to the wall.
And yes, I would recommend this brand to a friend as I'm sure the installation problems were of my own making.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by JMP76 Attractive towel bars go with other Moen bathroom accessories
Attractive towel bar is working well. There is not much leeway in the spacing of the two supports, since the space for the bar to fit into the supports is quite shallow. If measured carefully, it works well, however,

My daughter has (builder installed) Moen "Eva Collection" bathroom accessories throughout her new home. She wanted me to install an additional, identical towel bar in one of the bathrooms. After some research, I found the identical 24" Moen "Eva" towel bar at HomeDepot.com
I looked at numerous websites and found that HomeDepot.com had the best price. It was not stocked in-store, but only took about a week to ship free to my local store. Then, I got aHome Depot email and phone call, informing me that it was in the store & ready for pick up at the customer service desk..
Installation couldn't be easier. Simply, measure the correct mounting width when level and drill two 1/4" holes. Insert the mounting bracket with the two included & installed wall anchors into each hole and tighten each wall anchor screw until it stops.
Then, gently, push the towel bar onto the mounting brackets, until you hear a small "click" & you're done. Attractive design and easy to install.

I purchased this to compliment my faucet fixtures. It looks great. The connector is made of plastic and while it functions and seems sturdy I would prefer a metal connector. I hope Moen stands by this design and offers free replacement connectors if they fail in the future

The only problem with the installation is that if you hit a stud where you want to place the holder you have to use the alternative installation and not the anchor holder. Other then that it was easy to install.
The fit and finish were excellent. The holder was package very well and arrived unscratched.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Nebraska1 Poor mounting brackets
I'm posting the same review for the "Eva" model towel bars (18 in and 24 in) as well as the toilet paper holder and towel ring. All had the same poor mounting brackets.
The actual product itself isn't bad -- but the mounting is horrible. Instead of using regular dry-wall screw anchors (such as plastic expansion anchors or winged plastic anchors), these use "Sleeve-Type Hollow Wall Anchors" (or "Molly Bolts"). These did not always expand -- but when they did, the issue came on the next step when you are supposed to just "push" on the holder until it "clicks" into place. Every time we did this (toilet paper holder, towel bars, etc), this tremendously loosened the whole bracket. We ended up completely removing the built-in screws and using traditional plastic anchors instead of the one "molly bolt" one. And to remove this, it just "snaps" in with one tiny piece of plastic. Do not expect to be able to install & remove multiple times. Maybe these come with a variety of mounting brackets as the other products I purchased in store used traditional anchors and secured via a screw instead of a little piece of plastic.
