Had these in my old home and bought them again for my new one. They are perfect for hanging towels in the bathroom as an alternative to a towel bar. I bought the towel ring for near the sink and the toilet paper holder, too. Love them, and the price at Home Depot was the lowest around.

This hook was made well, but I ended up returning it because it was too small to meet my needs.

The robe hook was really easy to install. The box had the incorrect directions but the website had the correct ones. Was not real sure about the note to remove the anti twist lug removal in installing on a hard surface. What exactly is considered hard? Certainly ceramic tile but what about hard coat plaster? Removed them anyway so as not to crack the plaster. Installed in minutes and looks great. This item matches the other fixtures and accessories that our contractor installed.

We needed robe hooks in our bathrooms and wanted to match those which were ordered when the house was built last year. These work out perfectly to complete a look.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by KRKLZ Nice Hook; Mounting Bracket Could Use Improvement
The appearance and function of the hook is great, and it is sturdy; however, the mounting bracket will not work with any other product, and it uses a toggle anchor and will be very difficult to remove and/or move if desired. I would have preferred the mounting brackets I've used in the past (expansion anchors and somewhat standard - could be easily moved, or another product could be installed on the same bracket).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TommyTuna1 Easy to install, nice looking and sturdy construction.
This was an easy install. The only thing that it didn't come with were specific instructions for mounting it into a stud and a wood screw to use to mount it to a stud. But other than that, it was very easy to install into a hollow drywall. They could also recommend placement options for the hooks on walls. Don't install them too high or consider two on a wall, one lower, for youngsters who may need to hang things up.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Andy Avoid fixtures with the Pro Fit mounting system (like this one)
When my house was built 6 years ago, we chose this style of fixture to use throughout the house because we like the look (and still do), however we noticed most of the fixtures were relatively loose on the wall, so we tightened them.
Fast forward 6 years an they are all ripping out of the walls. This fixture uses the Moen Pro Fit mounting system, which is faster to install (only one screw), but is susceptible to failure if over-tightened... and when not over-tightened it seems loose. In my case, the tree-pronged anchor that is supposed to tighten against the back of the drywall ended up puncturing the paper cover of the back of the drywall. over time, the prongs dug into the drywall, causing further loosening. Now at 6 years I have had 3 of them rip out of the wall, leaving egg-sized holes that I need to patch, which will likely prevent me from remounting a replacement bar in the same spot (unless I replace the Sheetrock). I will be replacing all of these with a traditional mounting system.
Most retail sites don't list whether the product uses the Pro Fit mounting system or a more traditional mounting system, but you can find that information at moen.com. I suggest looking there first before purchasing any Moen fixtures.
