I installed this faucet to replace an identical one that lasted over ten years. I knocked the rating down to four stars as the old faucet was difficult to uninstall. On the old faucet the part that snaps onto the under the sink end of the pull out hose is different, and it was impossible to unsnap the hose without guidance (that was not provided). I finally uninstalled the old faucet by sawing it into two pieces with my hacksaw. The installation instructions should include removal instructions of older models. The new faucet works just like the old one with a satisfactory water stream.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product and service We bought this faucet in 2003. It has performed perfectly till last week when it developed a small leak in one of its hoses (after 13 years of use in my Italian wife's kitchen -- think heavy duty). I called Moen parts department and a replacement hose was on its way. The two-day service works. Unfortunately, when I went to install the hose, one of the copper supply tubes broke off from the main faucet. I carefully disassembled it to see if I could solder things back together but found that to be impossible. I called Moen back seeking another replacement part - and I was prepared to pay for it. I was told that the faucet had been improved and that original parts were no longer available. BUT, they quickly told me that a complete new IMPROVED faucet was on it way. Wow. Just WOW. The original lasted over 13 years. How long must they be thinking that the improved version will last? Well done, Moen. Thanks. BTW, the young woman I talked to in the parts dept. was excellent -- give her a raise in salary, please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful Product and Service!! I have a faucet that was installed when we built our home in 2001. In 2007 we had some problems with it. When I explained my problems I was sent a newer model as they no longer made the model I had. This was fine as the new model was just as beautiful as the original. Now I am having problems again!! I just spoke to Mason at MOEN and he is sending me the replacement pieces I need to repair my faucet again. He was so kind and understanding while I explained my needs. You know how we can describe things?? Like the doohickey, and the round thingy. He understood everything. I love MOEN all of my faucets in my home are MOEN. I recommend them to everyone!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheap product that looks good I purchased the Extensa in 2001 and 15 years later was glad I could replace the faucet with the same thing. Well, it wasn't the same quality. The sprayer is plastic, the faucet will not turn all the way left or right and the water is so slow I could knit a sweater while a pot is filling. I'm very disappointed with the flimsy quality of the Moen faucet. I paid $346.00 plus the cost to have a plumber install it. Don't waste your money on this piece of junk.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Moen Extensa The Moen Extensa faucet is an excellent product. I was doing fine with the assembly until Step 15 of 16. When I attached the spray wand to the Pullout Hose, water sprayed out of the base of the spray wand. I checked the Step 14 drawing and saw they showed an O-ring below the debris screen. There was no O-ring with the new faucet. I tried tightening the wand more; no change. I tried less torque; no change. Luckily the old faucet was a Moen Extensa Model 7560 also. I checked the old Pullout Hose, it didn't have an O-ring either, so maybe the O-ring isn't the problem. I used the old Extensa Pullout Hose and all the other new parts and the new Extensa works great. I plan to call Moen and find out whether that "missing" O-ring is my problem, or whether I'm doing something else wrong.
